It installs easily and it has a volume control with a compensated tone network to minimize tone changes when the volume is adjusted

Virtual Acoustic When you plug the Virtual Acoustic(TM) into an amp with all the tone controls set flat, the sound is very even, but adjusting the controls, particularly on a good acoustic amp gets dramatic results

Fantastic

Wonderful pickup. Warm, resonate, close to true sounding. Fits easily and stays snug,Only improvement would be to put the volume slide in the other way (so a push down turn the volume up, as it can get bumped when strumming). So nice to have volume if needed: feedback, open mic w/ guitar too hot, etc...Made in NY,NY USA -- cannot beat that.

The bottom 4 strings sounded amazing! No matter how much I tweaked it

First, the pick guard on my hummingbird kept the pole pieces from lining up under the strings, so I had to put a hard piece of rubber in the slot to make them align properly. Then the base strings were low and muddy. Even after raising the pole pieces the bass string were not crisp or clear. The bottom 4 strings sounded amazing! No matter how much I tweaked it, nothing changed. Maybe it's the guitar. I was intending to replace my 10 year old Fishman with this, but I guess I'll keep it. I also had a problem getting enough volume. I usually gig (small spaces) with my Marshall acoustic amp and run a line out to either 1 or 2 powered speakers. With this setup, my Fishman would get as loud as I needed while the DiMarzio wasn't even half the volume. Also 75% of the volume control in the slide was in the top 25%.I'm not saying everyone will have these problems, but I was disappointed.

Really nice.

Got it for my Martin, for playing through a Fender Acoustasonic 90 amp (at CLOSE DISTANCE with minimal feedback! Impressive)Sounds great.Clean as all get out.Take it off with ease.BUT I grabbed a end plug jack, and am gonna eliminate the cord hangin' out my sound hole with a bit of soldering.Minimal effort for a luthier. ;)Peace Out, and get this thang!

This pickup is what I've been looking for. Beats the CRAP outta my guitar's native piezo crystal. HOWEVER, you can blend the two very nicely, and they actually compliment each other. I can't wait to get into the studio next week and see how this sounds on wax!!!
