After a while, it works.
It took quite a while to find the right regulator switch for my 15 year old Central Pneumatic air compressor, there are so many variations out there. Yes, it is cheaply made. I did find a higher quality one, I forget the brand, but it was about $65.00, so forget that.I worried that tightening the regulator too much on the pipe that goes into the air tank could break the cast metal, so it is a bit looser that I would like. The red button was practically frozen, so I had to lube it up and force it in and out several times to get to the point where I could operate it by hand. And yes, there is no ground wire screw provided. Another thing I don't like is the scale on the air gauges. It goes to something like 180 psi. The top end of an air gauges should be around 25% higher than the highest operating pressure, so 150 psi would be a better number for the upper limit of a gauge. But, I'm glad I could even find a replacement, it was inexpensive and we must expect to get what we pay for.

adjustable
Everything fit just fine. I used ground screws and unloader tubing nut from the original switch. The original switch had a lot of corrosion in the 4 way fitting where the diaphragm seats, which caused the failure, but it was 12 years old. I turned the adjustment screw about two rounds counterclockwise to set at 80 psi on and 110 psi off. The contacts on the new switch were plated steel. Original switch had copper contacts. Time will tell as to the durability.

Fits old air compressors
Fits my 20 year old harbor freight air compressor. It is a bit cheaper of material, just don’t over tighten the fittings and you will be fine.

Cheap components no instructions but works
The media could not be loaded. 1) no instructions. What worked for me as is shown in pics. First is motor (load) side. 2nd is Line (plug side).2) apparently they added ground screw holes each side but had to reuse screws and lock washer from old unit.3) careful installing inlet not to overtighten and crack casting which appears lower quality (as expected for price point)4) relief valve periodically leaks. Going to replace with original5) small line is NOT 6mm. I lost ferrule sleeve or it was missing and went to 8 places to find one. Finally got at specialty Pneumatic store

Working fine as replacement on Harbor Freight air compressor
So far, working great as replacement on Harbor Freight Central Pneumatics model 47065, a 21-gallon air compressor. This replacement had appropriate screw holes for the ground wires, so I did not need to drill and tap any holes for ground wire screws.=======I think the original switch contacts burned up/plastic melted because the air compressor was left plugged in and it repeatedly cycled due to a leaky hose.I found (here on Amazon) a 30-minute electronic fixed interval timer (intended use for curling irons), rated at 15 amps, regular 120V grounded outlet that I now have the compressor connected to.
