I sized up as many suggested, but these are still far from “relaxed fit“ the tag proclaims. Little to no stretch. I think the supposed tummy control is really just a strong zipper and really tight fit. Lol good thing they’re inexpensive because I’m too lazy to return them.

Just the right fit

Lee makes great jeans so I knew I would be totally satisfied with my purchase. However, I ordered “short” and still had to shorten them. I’m 5’1” and these would have fit someone 5’5” or taller. But, they fit perfectly and look great on. You can’t go wrong with Lee jeans.

I need high rise jeans (12 short). Mid rise jeans makes for a "muffin top". My weight is 133, about 5' or 5.1" tall and carry my weight in the tummy area. I ordered all 6 colors and my assessment is the fit depends on which country the jeans are made in. The big difference I found between the jeans is the gapping in the back waist area. Ellis and Seattle (made in Bangladesh) I needed to return due to large gapping issues. The colors Inspire, Palisade and Heritage (made in Egypt), Black (made in Mexico), these I was able to keep. I hope this assessment helps any women who have gapping issues with jeans. The Try Before You Buy method was a plus.

I had to size up one size. 5’4”, short is good. But the legs are so baggy for me, it was not a good look. Sadly, had to return them. Good quality Jean.
