This is my sescond order of this product in 4 months. I LOVED the first one. I ordered this to have as soon as the other ran out as I use it daily both diffusing and adding to my lotion.HOWEVER. Not only is the packaging different (although very well sealed), but the dispenser did not do anything until I shook it very aggressively over the diffuser and several tiny spots appeared in the water of the diffuser. So I removed the drop dispenser to replace it with the one I have, expecting to experience that elegant boswellia sacra fragrance to find ... nothing. I poured a bit directly in my hand only to find a very oily substance with a very slight fragrance I can not quite identify. SO UPSET --I am returning this product.

This oil smells identical to organic boswellia carterii I purchased at the health food store for 14.95 for 2 ml. The scent of the sacra seems a little lighter. The taste was much better, and it worked faster. The dropper is great once you get it started. It keeps the oil coming out only one drop per second which keeps you from wasting oil. Most droppers it's hard to control the exact number of drops. With this only one drop comes out per full second so there is no waste. Which is important with a high end oil. That saves me money! I paid full asking price for this oil and the product is worth the money. I am no expert in essential oil quality but It smells just like the expensive brand name frankinscense that I bought before and it worked even better than the more expensive oil on each condition that I used it for. So that's all that matters to me. What I have healed with frankinscense oil is the following:1. Bumps under my skin on my face that have been there for a long time are finally going away and healing. Put 2 drops on face 2x day. Skin looks much, much better overall.2. 5 drops of frankinscense in 2 cups of Epsom salt bath (very soothing emotionally as well). After bath 5 drops frankinscense in carrier oil.Skin is improving all over body. Callus and cracked heels removed my feet were horrible a week ago.Dry skin and sores that won't heal are going away after almost 2 years. Spot treat with 1 drop of oil mixed with 1 drop carrier oil.3. Put 5 drops of frankinscense in Neti pot with normal saline and sinus cyst is either gone or much smaller. Glad to have my sinus cavity back.4. I had a chronic cough for the past 2 months with granulomas and it cleared that right up.5. Had a fleshy growth on the inside of my mouth for at least a month applied 1 drop daily and it got smaller over 5 days and now is gone completely. Also put one drop on toothpaste daily and I can tell my mouth feels cleaner and looks healthier.6. Lips have gotten much fuller for some reason.Will update with any more changes. It says not for internal use but I think that's because of their company policy towards liability. You should only drink one drop so I am guessing it's ok since I have put 2 drops in my mouth and not rinsed.Frankinscense is the most amazing essential oil I have ever used.

They are both coffee right? But this is where the comparison ends. The Frankincense Sacra is grown usually in the Middle East and is the kind of Frankincense traditionally attributed to the Bible and current use in Christian churches. The other type Boswellia Thurifera is sourced all over from places such as Somalia and China. In my opinion the fragrance of the F. Sacra is far superior. But none of these things were a factor in my choice as to which I should buy. While researching some complimentary therapies for my Breast Cancer treatment, I found actual clinical research that found F. Sacra was one of the EO's shown to cause death of cancer cells, especially Breast Cancer cells. Beside all the other actions of Frankincense such as Immunostimulant, Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Depressive, wound healing, skin care, anti-cancer, this EO F.Sacra seemed to be the one for me. And all this aside, this Frankincense Sacra has a far superior fragrance to my other bottles of Frankincense. Last but not least there are many vendors for EO's out there, but AVIANO BOTANICALS had great feedback and to me they were wonderful to deal with. Puzzled why this sacred frankincense is so inexpensive compared to other brands claiming organic high quality. Other brands sell for twice as much and more. The scent smells like a mix of clay and turpentine. Not sure if this is to be expected. The oil is smooth but at times seems a little sticky when not enough carrier oil is used. Glad to hear this is organic. I have continued to use this essential oil for almost a year and am getting used to the fragrance which is quite earthy. I am using it on my skin with a carrier oil to slow aging and am noticing less new wrinkles forming. I'm also noticing a healthy glow to my skin. I have read that frankincense essential oil is a powerful astringent, meaning it helps protect skin cells. It can be used to help reduce acne blemishes, the appearance of large pores, to prevent wrinkles, and it will even help lift and tighten skin to naturally slow signs of aging. The oil can be used anywhere where the skin becomes saggy such as the abdomen, jowls, or under the eyes. Mix 6 drops of oil to one ounce of unscented oil and apply it directly to the skin.
