I've had this lantern over year. During that time my power has gone out for days at a time. While I have 3 lanterns this one is my go to lantern. The light is bright enough to wash dishes, read a book. It lights up a room extremely well. When putting in batteries the lid on the bottom can be a little difficult. Be sure to line up the notch inside the lid then make sure the lid pushed all the way against the body then twist it done. The batteries in this product seem to outlast the batteries in the smaller lanterns. I highly recommend this product!

Seems like a good quality lantern. I bought it for a power outage or a hurricane. Good to have!

Eco Survivor LED camping lantern with charging port. We bought 2 for our survival kit - they work great. Already to use them as we had a bad storm and no power for 2 days. It is so much safer than burning candles.  Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. The brightness was good, I like that it was lightweight. Most liked that I can charge my phone.

i like that i can open it with my bare hands, and it lights up the whole house, and is easy to carry around, and also easy to store in a kitchen cabinet, and easy to put the batteries in

I looked EVERYWHERE for a lantern with a USB port that takes BATTERIES (most are rechargable). I keep this is my storm shelter so if I get stuck in there a while waiting for a storm to pass I can still charge my phone. Love this and will probably purchase another.

We live in an area that was experiencing periodic PG&E planned outages, so we bought this lamp. Of all the lamps we bought, this one is my favorite, not just because it charges your phone (a precious commodity in a power outage), but because the lighting itself is nice. It was nice, bright, and wasn't fluorescent or some weird eye-hurting color; it just white light and felt natural. I honestly wish I'd bought three more and put one in each corner of the room.

Well don’t know about battery life as just got and you have to buy batteries separately!

A lot brighter than I thought it would be. Perfect for camping or when the power goes out. Not sure how long batteries last as haven't tested it yet.
