I bought this item because I bought a deep mattress and wanted not only a waterproof barrier but bed bug and dust protector. The protector fits well, tight and is made for a 17" deep mattress. Good quality, not hot, did not add a lot of thickness and is washable.

I read many reviews before purchasing. I highly recommend this product. It was easy to put onto the mattress and I like how it is thick, but not too thick. It is not noisy like the ones from years ago.

I like the properties of the material, and it seems okay, but as I was putting it on, it ripped a little near the zipper because of the design. I wish the zipper was in the middle of one side, instead of the edge of one side.
