How does this table hold up to liquid spills ?

Haven't had spills yet, but the sides look like they'd hold quite a bit.

What is the height from the legs to the bottom of the tray (not including the tray)

Legs measure 8" in length. Legs are not secure when fully extended. Would use caution with food and beverage. I use as lap tray instead. Perfect for electronic devices.
