Good part for the money
I have a 2018 John Deere Z425 with 54" deck. This part states it fits the Z425 but I failed to ask ahead of time if it fits the 54" deck specifically as there is a smaller version. The part fit the deck well but the threads on the top of the spindle did not match the pitch of the spindle pulley nut (see picture). I contacted the seller and they were very helpful in communicating with me and trying to come up with a solution. Ultimately I just took the spindle to ACE Hardware and bought a new nut to match the threads of this unit. I ended up with a 9/16-18 fine thread jam nut seated on top of a larger diameter washer. Do not use a 9/16 washer as it will not fit over the spindle correctly and the pulley will be loose. The part is now working well after one mowing and I am happy with it. If it doesn't hold up long term I will update.

Absolute Trash
So I bought this spindle in hope of being able to replace a failed version easily and cheaper than if I went with Factory OEM. Boy what a mistake. 1st off, the threads on the spindle shaft are not cut to the correct pitch or pattern to fit the OEM Nut, therefore to get it to work, you need to either try and source a new nut, reuse the spindle shaft from your OEM part, or cross-thread the crap out of it to get it to tighten down. 2nd is this replacement comes un greased. Therefore you will need to try and fill with grease through the useless zerk fitting, which 1/2 the time doesn't even work, or get the grease to where it needs to go. Lastly, this only lasted like 2 months (4-6 mowing's) until the bearings failed and ultimately destroyed the pully in the process. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your $$ on these, and just purchase OEM, as it will function properly and cost less in $$ and frustration in the long run
