Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Legends Class Protectobot Groove Figure

As a HUGE Transformers fan dating back to when they were 1st awakened by the eruption of Mt. St. Helena on the Ark in 1984... the Generations and now the Combiner Wars lines are the best thing since sliced bread. The individual robots have superb detail and some pretty nice articulation. But the quality of the pieces REALLY come out when they are all united into the big boys. Superion, Defensor, Menasor, Ultimate Optimus and Devastator so far. NONE have been a disappointment.BE SURE TO SHOP AROUND THOUGH. There are some sellers who are hoping to capitalize on those who don't know what they're doing by trying to sell the individual teams in complete packages for $50 more than they are if bought separate. There are also sellers asking $80 for a $15-20 toy.BEWARE OF THE OVERPRICED SELLERS!!!! These are the sellers who clear out the shelves at the local stores forcing us to have to purchase online. Let's ALL do our part to ensure that these individuals get stuck with a MASSIVE inventory of toys that they can't get rid of so the shady practices will stop.Legends Class: $9 is a good average, $15 is pushing itDeluxe Class: $5-20 is a good average, $25 is pushing itVoyager Class: $25-30 is good average, $35 & up is ridiculousLeader Class: $40-50 is good average, $55 & up is ridiculous

I got this for my son as he's a little older now, and I wanted him to try a step up from the Playskool transformers. He was so excited when he got them! It takes him a minute to transform them, which I like. It only took him (literally) a couple seconds to transform the old ones. These ones make him think a little. The motorcycle is great! He'll be playing with the Legends transformers for a while!

My nephew is going to love this transformer. This is a perfect gift for a young boy. The product is well made and the price was unbeatable. I had looked at other toy stores in the area and Amazon had the best price compared to competitors. I highly recommend this product.

Don't be fooled by the high average rating of this product. It does not transform properly to the motorcycle. Another reviewer gave it 3 stars for the problem with the wheel. It should have been one star. In short, avoid this product.

This is a fun little figure with a reasonably clever transformation, and evokes the classic G1 toy nicely. Worth it if you can get it cheap. The usual retail price of $9.99 seems a little high.While I like the toy, it's not without it's problems. It can be a little difficult to align the rear wheel halves together properly to put into motorcycle mode, so the rear of the bike can often split apart when it's not just right. Also, the robot looks a little strange, with extremely narrow, stilt-like ankles. Finally, the combiner "chestplate" mode is difficult to attach, extremely loose, and just looks sort of odd, detracting from the look of the combined Defensor robot. Don't buy it to just to complete your Defensor, but it's still nice for a Protectobot set. If you can get the Japanese Deluxe size Groove (coming soon to the US in limited release as of writing), that might be better.

Comes apart into many tiny pieces. Will probably never be whole again.

This product is a little small Than what some might expect but I paid less than $6 for it so the price can't be beat. Great for a stocking stuffer. The Transformer line "combiner wars" is perfect for younger kids learning how to transform them for the first time.

It's kind of a cheap toy. Doesn't stay together well and boring for my son to play with. I wouldn't get it again.
