GAME 9015-BB GalaxyGLO Globe Backyard/Outdoor Light, 100% Solar-Powered, 5 different color Modes, 10.75”

This has to be one of my favorite buys on Amazon. The colors on this glow ball are so beautiful. The blue, red, and green are so bright and the color changing is awesome or you can set them to stay on your favorite color. I bought three and I'm definitely going to buy more. Only downside is they don't stay on all night but the time they are on are well worth the price.

i've got three spheres over the years because they look beautiful on our deck. but it is very frustrating when they just stop working and there is no way to change any battery or anything. they say it's waterproof but even in mist or very light rain, they stop performing. (no i don't have a swimming pool to let them float in there.) they're quite expensive so it is very annoying to spend that money and not get a longer return. the lady at the game customer service is prompt and good. but i have a feeling her hands are tied in terms of giving a discount for a new product? she did offer free replacements if i ship the damaged spheres to her. but the costs of shipping are pretty high, even with usps. it's like a vicious circle which is very, very unfortunate as the product looks very cool (when it works). they give replacements for free but you cant really ship as the cost of shipping is higher than the spheres. there are some new options on amazon that are as beautiful and are at a lower price. i guess i am moving away from the game family after all these years.

Loved the globes. One stopped working and I ordered another. The first 2 were white. The one I just ordered came and was a creamy color so I had to return and order another in hopes I will get white. I think it may have just been a bad globe?

We travelled to the islands and the resort where we stayed had something like this in their courtyard. My wife loved them...so, of course I looked for something like them to put in our back yard. I purchased 2 different globes, this one and one that required a charger. Pound for pound this globe performed extremely well and I am satisfied with it. It works as advertised, gives off a decent amount of light, is weatherproof, etc.. HOWEVER, it does have its limitations. Since it is solar charged you need a good long day of sunshine for it to work well and work long. With a good charge it lasted around 5 hours for me. If the day was overcast or partly sunny, it may have worked for a shorter time or not at all. If you live where you get a lot of sun the majority of the time these will serve you well. If you live in a location like I do where you have a lot of overcast days you must know they may not be to your liking. I am ok with it as I use it only for occasions. If I wanted it to be lit every day I would get the larger, chargeable globe that is also twice the price. I do have one of these and they are better but also way more expensive. So it depends on what you want it for, how you wish to use it, and where you live. I still gave it 5 stars as it did everything it claimed. We are happy with it.

One works “almost” perfectly...it changes colors as I programmed it to do. I say almost because neither globe stays lit for the 6 hours shown on the boxes. They come on around 8 and are dark by 10 or so, and we’ve had nothing but sun mostly here for months. But the other globe lights up every night just steady white. Every time I notice that, I have to unlock the deck door, go outside, and use the remote to make it change colors. The next night I expected it to change colors, but it ALWAYS lights up just plain white again. WHY? I want to return it. Please advise how.

Honestly, save your money and get something else. We are very disappointed. Bought a total of seven and they looked awesome, charged good and lasted at least half the night... for six weeks, then the first one stopped working! Filled up with water inside, even tho they are placed off the ground on some plant stands. After the first one stopped working we could watch them go out one after another, now we're down to two working ones, the rest is trash!! All of them completely corroded inside :(Like i said, save your money and buy something with better reviews, these are not even worth a dollar a piece!

Bought 3 as a gift for my friend's pool and they work brilliantly...especially at her remote, Nicaragua ranch where solar power is a bonus. Love the quality and vibrancy of the colours. Waterproof anything can be a crap shoot, so I hope they hold up...so far so good.

This year, we purchased on June 1 and another on June 20. The one from June 20 came to us with yellow stains that I cannot remove with cleaning. It's really weird. So when the two solar balls are floating on the pool, we chose white light, but the newer one looks yellow due to the yellow stains. And even when we change colors, they look different. We spent $90 on this and it's disappointing that the quality and consistency just isn't there.

I ordered two. One was defective and Amazon replaced it. Of the two only one has survived a season and it is really nice. The 2nd has a leak which allowed rainwater to enter and it shorted out. I contacted Game via Facebook instant messenger. They never bothered to reply. Perhaps phoning might have been better and if so then they should indicate that on their site. Essentially zero customer service and the product has quality control issues. Really neat when they work but unless they support it better I would not recommend buying this, even at half price.Edit: I was sent a new one by Game after I managed to email someone from the company. The design has changed with the bottom now waterproof. The whole bottom part is now one piece up to about 1/4" and then there is a seam. Not sure if water could enter through there as seems to still have a slight opening. Much better product, works better but I am still not convinced that water won't leak in. I would give this new globe 3-4 stars, tentatively, if it withstands rain. Make sure to get the new version.Revised to 4 stars. New design works great.
