Paradigm Subwoofer 12 Inch Single Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-12JL-1 (Single)

This new foam surround fixed my 20 year old Paradigm 12" woofer, the foam ring in which had completely deteriorated. Easy to install; the hardest part was just getting the old gooey foam off, but was really quite easy to do with just a bit of alcohol and elbow grease. It takes several hours to complete the process, but that's mostly just time waiting for the glue to dry.

This kit worked for me and the sub-woofer is working perfectly again. I followed the video and directions really carefully. I prepared the speaker immediately after I ordered the kit. The kit arrived in 4 days (today) and I set to work installing the new surround. Remember to follow the video and directions exactly. I watched it multiple times just to be sure but I’m a perfectionist. The glue they provide is just perfect for this job and makes it a lot easier than it could have been. All in all, it took me a total of about 6 hours to repair (which includes removing and replacing the speaker back into the cabinet).Excellent investment for my $28 (including tax) and Thank You Simply Speakers for making these kits available to the public. I was going to have to spend around $1,000 to replace the sub if it wasn’t for this kit.

I thought my PDR-12 subwoofer was done. After watching the video that shows how this kit works I decided to give it a try. Followed the instructions exactly as presented and now my subwoofer sounds as good as ever.

I bought this repair kit to fix an expensive Paradigm 12 inch sub that was damaged by mice. This turned out to be a surprisingly easy repair that took me about 2 days (for the glue to dry) to accomplish. Consequently, I saved a lot of money buying a new Subwoofer. Don't be afraid to try this repair kit. Watch the demonstration video and you will have your speaker repaired and jamming in no time.

I had a Paradigm PDR-12 Subwoofer that had begun to vibrate. Upon inspection about 1/3 of the foam had disintegrated holding the cone. This $20 foam replacement part gave new life to an old sub woofer. Installation was fairly straight forward. Watch the video if you need to see something first. The process went quick and was not difficult. Once the installation was complete, the sub woofer worked perfectly! Very satisfying to install a $20 part and have everything work like it was new.

It was a perfect fit and worked for a paradigm PDR 12. However, the issue seems to be more complex and not worth fixing. But I did get 20+ years out of the sub. You really can't ask for more than that. So I wasted $25 bucks to find out. lol
