Great for fountain pens. Some inks will smear more however because of the glaze.

I really love these little notebooks for me these are just about the perfect size for my journals. They are great for fountain pens! Smooth and sturdy so you can write on both sides of the sheet because there is rarely any bleed through. I tend to buy them up when I see them drop in price, I highly recommend these if you journal because they will last.

I love Claire Fontaine products but I couldn’t pick the color.

Very consistent, nice paper. Very smooth. Not all of my inks like it, so I switch inks or pens. The only thing I do not like is the difficulty of getting the pages to lie down at the beginning. Once you get a crease started in the spine, it folds easily. I would buy this notebook again. I think I will try their spiral bound notebook.

I'm a total office supply addict. I love notebooks on the whole. But then an author I know mentioned that she plans out her novel in Clairefontaine notebooks because of the luscious paper. I bought one to check it out myself...and oooh-la-la, was she ever right. The paper is so smooth, so wonderful, that it actually has a light sheen to it. Your pen glides across the surface with ease making writing by hand a pleasure. Pricey, but worth it if you journal or do other writing you intend to keep around and not toss.

I have been using this notebook for 10+ years. Love it. Great for work meeting notes, travel info, etc. Love it in Blue, Green, Black.... but the Red cover is not good. It screams aloud when you take it out. Can literally see people looking at me and wondering, "Did he buy a Red notebook on purpose?" Answer: NO. I recognize that the when you order they cannot guarantee color, but the Red is truly hideous, if not embarrassing.

Like most writers, I have my addictions. I have always preferred the Clairfontaine paper quality and sturdy binding. I've filled literally hundreds of these and always said I'd do a testimonial to them if asked. So here it is.

The paper quality is superb, but the line width is ridiculously wide. A 4 year old could write on these lines with a crayon. It looks really silly for an adult to write on paper with such wide ruling.

This is very good 90gsm coated paper, suitable for fountain pens (even broad wet ones). No showthrough, feathering, bleeding or even ghosting. The canvas along the edge is very good in binding the pages together. Bit expensive though and it does not have a cardboard pouch at the end (always handy). Also it is larger/wider than standard A5 size, so it will not fit in your standard A5 cover. The cover looks profesional enough to replace Oxford Black n Red notebooks.

Me encantan estos cuadernos porque son como los que usaba cuando era niña en la escuela, pero con un papel de calidad altísima. No se transpasa la tinta y no se caen las hojas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
