Voltes V Complete Japanese TV Series SDBD

The imports version of this cost way too much but the video quality is very top notch. But this one is almost in par with import version. Hopefully they fully formatted to full Blu-ray.

This is what Discotek is all about, keep kicking out those awesome classics! Next on the list should be Daimos! I already preordered my copy of Combattler V, and all we need is the final installment of the Robot Romance Trilogy! You guys rock... minus the Voltron image flub. (:P)

As a huge fan of classic anime. I have been waiting a long time for the release of this series "Voltes V" and it was worth the wait!. The quality compared when it first came out on dvd is excellent!

From the mid-seventies to the late eighties, Japanese TV was overwhelmed by giant robots, either good, bad, or monotonously indifferent, but Voltes V was one of the best. It also has one of the most complex and Freudian family setups, wherein the missing scientist father of three boys drafted for the Voltes V defense project turns out to also be the father of the youthful leader of the deadly Boazan, who are busy trying to flatten the Earth. Rivalries ensue.

Great collection. All 40 episodes in one BD. Original format but nicely cleaned up. Japanese language with English sub. Contains extras like Toy Ads from the 70s.
