Strong
Used it to fix my patio umbrella. Worked great and has held up so far. The cord doesn't stretch like the one that broke.

Durable, flame resistant, strong!
This cord is perfect for 1001 different uses. Kevlar cord is unbelievably strong and durable, useful for nearly any purpose that other ropes/cords of other types can be used for.... only better. About the only reason to use something other than an appropriately sized Kevlar cord would be cost/benefit. Kevlar will almost always be better than anything else, so you just have to decide if your use is worth the premium. In my case, I am using it for high-powered rocketry. Generally, the payload and/or nosecone sections will be attached to the booster section and the parachute with Kevlar cord. Because the deployment of the parachute is done using a small black-powder charge, other cords and elastic can potentially burn through with even a single use. Within a few uses, anything other than Kevlar is generally, well, "toast"... literally. Kevlar can be used over-and-over again with almost no obvious wear. Though I use this particular cord, many rocketeers use Kevlar strap to help avoid "zippering" the rocket. If you are into this hobby, you know what I mean... but I have found that a sufficiently long cord usually avoids this problem.Tip for use... To avoid fraying at cut ends, the cord that was shipped to me used electrical wire shrink tubing shrunk onto the ends. I had never thought of this and it is a good idea... however, I combine that with a dab of low-viscosity "superglue" the superglue will wick into the cord and hold it together. Before it dries I gingerly press the end together (avoiding sticking my fingers to it) to compress it into a neat, more-or-less round shape I can get the tubing over. Then, I use the shrink tubing over the outside. This gives me a neat, fray proof end.Main reasons to use:Low stretchHigh StrengthFire ResistantChemical Resistant

Great Quality
I used this for my string for cocking my crossbow. It works great and is super strong. No stretch.

No stretch , easy to knot and untie.
ordered it on 4-30 , recieved it on 5-3. Ordered this to use to hang a hammock like many others had . I found it easy to cut with a 6" boning knife. and I taped the edge to keep from fraying , I plan to put shring tube on the ends . I used it immediatly to test it . and it worked as expected , no stretch and takes a knot easy , and comes undun easy too. I only use knots to hang my hammock , no whoopie slings, Knots are a skill, best used to keep it. I use a bowline and taught hitch to hang . this cordage is light and durable. been let down with other types . Now I can't wait to hit the trail .

Very strong and durable for my zero gravity loungers
I used this to replace the worn out and damaged string on my zero gravity porch lounge chairs. It is so strong and working perfectly on my loungers. Much better alternative than to disposing of the chair since everything else was in great working order.

Great line for more than spearguns!
I used this line for numerous things, but primarily as a structural ridgeline for my camping hammock. I wanted something thin, light, very strong, and stretch resistant. This line fit the bill perfectly, and while expensive, has the qualities necessary for very specific duties. The line is great for "bite" knots and taut-line hitch knots.Keep in mind that kevlar does not burn or melt, so proper whipping is necessary to prevent VERY rapid fraying.

Great prod
I use this cord to replace a cord in an outdoor umbrella. I worked quite well for that purpose.

Need durability ? Try this.
Not sure what the deal is but i made a new draw back rope for crossbow with this stuff and it very durable. Cut it with a fairly sharp razors knif and had hard time cutting it. And before you say i should change the blade i had just cut a 10 mm climing rope rated 3500lbs like butter. And this stuff dose not burn at all. Tried to burn the ends after each cut but it wont. Even tried to use a propane torch but no good just tie a knot at the end is all i can tell you. Need something durable this is it.
