This book should be required reading
This book really speaks to me, especially right now when it feels like there is so much chaos in the world. The author, Sarah Crossman Sullivan, reminds us that we have a choice in every encounter... to love or fear, to act or be paralyzed, to do the hard work and fulfill our dreams or aid in the dreams of others or to be complacent and fill our heads with all of the buzzing that consumes us in our modern day to day. Honestly this book is applicable to a corporate leader, a judge, a student, a teacher, a coach, a parent, etc. We can all learn from the author's manual on how to love each other and in return find a wholeness in our own lives whether it is in the boardroom, court room, classroom, on the field, or in the grocery store. I refer to this book as a manual as the author is actually teaching the reader what loving looks like and how it impacts others and makes us whole. A manual on how to love each other is so needed in this day and age.

Needed Now More Than Ever
When I saw the words, 'epidemic of empty,' it was like a gut punch. A gut punch of recognition. We are in that epidemic. Hell, I'm in that epidemic! Yes, my life is filled -- with a great husband and kids and job, yet I constantly feel emptied out, by the demands and the drain the world at large makes on my energy. Combine my emptiness with the false 'fullness' on social media, and I think it's a perfect combo to feel like crap. In her book, Sarah Crossman Sullivan was my coach, showing me how to reclaim the life my soul needs to experience. It's a 'highlighter' book, in that there are lines I highlighted on every page because I don't want to forget them. This book is the roadmap we all need. Here's to being broken, but WHOLE!!

Full of life lessons
This is a guide book for how we should live our lives. Sarah gives us permission to make mistakes and helps us see the beauty in our imperfections. Beautifully Broken and Astoundingly Whole is a book I will revisit to remind myself that I am granted grace and that I am capable of so much. Thank you, Sarah!

A refreshing wake up call!
Like many other reviewers have noted, Sarah’s voice is so refreshing in a world that seems to focus on the negative. Her book is an excellent wake up call - love, be vulnerable, accept your own faults and the faults of others - we’re all better when we bring each other up!
