Why buy more expensive wheels? This are incredible
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Alright, I've never ridden any other carbon wheels but I think the differences would be minor. Especially if you're like me and you're looking to upgrade your wheelset without breaking the bank. I'm not a professional , I'm just starting to get into racing Crits and I can average about 22-25 on the flats. I've taken these downhill and reached over 40mph on them. The only thing I've yet to do is go to a track on them.My immediate feedback is that they are light. They spin great. The are agile on the turns. They feel rock solid. They come true and balanced. Wheels seat amazingly well and the tape feels great. The hub sounds really cool to me.My only complaint is the stock brake pads they give you. They wore off onto the rim and started squeaking like crazy. Don't use the ones that come with them, order some reynolds that are designed for carbon wheels.Braking has actually been really good. I've had to give a fist full a couple times and I was able to stop without issue.Happy to answer questions but don't even worry that they are off-brand because they will be a fantastic upgrade to whatever aluminum wheels you have now. Or even as a backfill to have while racing.

Value and quality. It's worth every penny
After reading many positive reviews I made up my mind ordering this carbon wheeIset. The packaging was great and got here today. I was so excited with them that I went to the bike store ASAP to get them built.I thougth of buying a zipp or mavic..but I gotta say.. they are amazing and true wheels Its weigtht and material really nice.My bike went from 80 to 100%. It is a very good-looking bike now.The skewers were packaged in their own box and were high quality. Right out of the box, the wheels are really true.I ordered 38mm coz in my area you face lots of crosswinds while riding... so I cant take any risk regarding this issue. I am still recovering from a crash last April.I can hardly wait to ride my bike tomorrow.. and for sure I will let you know about it.

Good, but not without it's problems.
Bought these wheels 10 months ago. I have 4,300 miles on them, the problems started at 3,500 miles. The rims are good and the hubs are good, but the spoke nipples are cheep, cheep, cheep!!! 3 spoke nipples broke on the rear wheel in a 2 week period and 1 broke on the front wheel a week later. There is really no excuse for all the nipples breaking, I'd rather pay another 15 or 20 bucks for the wheelset and have better spoke nipples. Sure you get extra nipples but, why should I have to keep replacing them. I've built wheels before, so I know what I'm doing, but what about the avg Joe.Ok, so you know: I'm 6' tall 185lbs. I ride mostly on rolling terrain in North Georgia with some good inclines and descents. An avg 40-mile ride will have 2000 to 2500 feet of elevation gain. A lot of my miles are on the Silver Comet Trail, a rolling smooth 65 paved miles trail to Alabama. In other words, I don't beat on the wheels.Since the wheels are still in good shape I am currently in the process of replacing all of the spoke nipples. So far I have completed the front wheel. If you are only riding 1.500 to 2.000 miles a year and/or are light( less than 170lbs), these wheels will be fine. They should give you several years of trouble-free riding. If you are looking at 5000+ miles a year, you may have to consider these to be disposable every year, or be prepared to replace the spoke nipples as I am doing. I expect to get an extra 4,000 miles after the nipples are replaced. All in all, I like the wheels, but they are not 5 stars.Update 10/30/19...When relacing the wheels, I was having trouble with the free hub. I pulled the bearings and the larger hub bearing (6902) inside the free hub was seized. The bearing looks perfect bust it is toast. Not sure why only this 1 bearing is seized, but they are cheap enough to replace. I've replaced the spoke nipples. Once the bearings are installed, I expect to get 5000 miles more from these wheels.

Don’t think twice. Just do it.
One last update 2/18/20-Wheels still going strong. Did a 45 miler yesterday and ride was still smooth. Bombed going down hill at speeds of 32-38mph and I never had any worries. Headed towards the Marina and the pathway has tons of cracks and bumps for at least 3 miles and still no worries. I'm sure I'll have to get them checked out soon like any other wheel. 10/10!UPDATE: Finally had time to do a 25 miler and the wheels were great. I encountered some rough areas on the road and the wheels absorbed everything without any hiccups. There was some slight crosswind and even with 38mm you can feel a little tug. Nothing major (you get used to it). Also, please get some good brake pads for carbon wheels. It makes such a big difference. No squeaking and doesn't leave a streak on the wheels. Will do another update when I do a longer ride.Very impressed with the quality of these wheels and for $300 it’s a bang for your buck so far. Took them to my LBS for installation and the owner was impressed by the quality and weight. Asked him about the skewers and he said they were good and actually weighted less than the Mavic ones that came with the Aksiums I replaced. I also swapped out the brake pads that came stock to some DT Swiss ($45) for better quality and performance. Even though I spent an extra $45 on pads it still doesn’t come close to spending $1,800+ on some Zipps, HED etc.Did a 3 mile test run and everything was smooth and the DT Swiss brakes really compliments the wheels. Will do an update when I do a 15-20 mile test ride.Includes 12 month warranty.
