Now that I have purchased 11 times I feel good about leaving a review. We have a rescue dog that was in a puppy mill environment until she was 9 years old. Essentially when we got her she had never touched grass or been potty trained at all. A sacrifice we have made is understanding that she may never go outside like most dogs so we set up several “bathroom” areas indoors where she feels safe. We started with these pads and loved them. She took to them almost immediately which was encouraging. On a few occasions when this brand wasn’t available quickly, I ordered another brand but the texture was different and she was peeing next to them. Switch back to these and she’s right back on track. These are the largest we could find which is helpful for training. They definitely feel thicker and more quilted than some of the cheaper brands we’ve tried. I’ve seen no problems with urine leaking through the pads. She will pee on the edge sometimes and it goes under the pad on the edge which can make you think the pad is leaking but that’s not the case. Now we’ve found other purposes to use them. I have a senior diabetic cat that has litter box mistakes and sometimes she will pee on the floor next to the box so I’ve started keeping one of these under the box. The large size is perfect for this. On a side note, if you are asked by your vet to collect a urine sample from your pet, you can turn this upside down and leave the blue side up so when your pet pees on it, you can collect off the waterproof side. It will form a puddle.

These are simply the best puppy pads I have ever found with a decent price. I say decent, because they are still pretty pricey. They even perform better than some high dollar ones I've tried. I get the xl and I am happy with their dimensions! Larger than some of the other xls I've tried.

I very much like this product. It is very absorbent. I have tried others and this has been the best. When the fur baby goes on one, it is pretty much the only one I need to replace. Unlike others where the fur baby does his business and I have to replace several other pads since they were not absorbent.

Perfect size for a small dog in an apartment. It’s the same beautiful color blue as the other ones from PetSmart but more affordable for the quantity so they look the same. Amazing odor control and appearance. The durability is uncanny. Versatile for both indoor and outdoor use. I WILL BE PURCHASING AGAIN! This may be a trivial thing to knock off a star for, but these pads are difficult to unfold. You'll probably open any pad, regardless of brand, by giving it one big flap/snap downwards to unfold it all at once, but these particular pads require such vigorous flapping to unstick the folds that it might unnerve your dog. If the dog is new, the last thing you want is to startle it into fearing the pads. Otherwise they're good pads, I use three at a time in each location (my dog doesn't like to pee and poo on the same pad) but one box lasts me weeks. I put one pad face down, then two more the right way up over it. The face-down one protects the floor if the dog piddles too close to the edge -- the waterproof backing works, but that's a problem if liquid gets under the pad and can't evaporate, especially if you have laminate floors or older hardwood floors with lacquer finish. I put two pads face up partly because dogs like cushioning under their feet when they're balanced to pee or poo, so giving my dog extra padding keeps her off the doormat. It also makes it easy to clean up in a hurry if someone drops by, I can just grab the soiled pad on top and hide it and worry about replacing it later. It's embarrassing to have a conversation with a neighbor with pee circles in sight. These pads are big enough that my dog doesn't travel off them very often, which she does with the standard size pads, but they're also big enough that she can use one pad several times before I have to change it -- there's no smell or leak-through. I prefer the Amazon brand pads but got these when they ran out, and I'm pleased with them overall. They're a bit annoying to unfold though.

These are the best wee wee pads I’ve purchased. Nice and thick, good size and they don’t leak. I suggest you give them a try.

These training pads have a great absorption ability. We have a Heeler- Border Collie mix, and on occasions of having to leave him at home, the pads are very helpful.
