Great whistle for emergency use
I bought these whistles to you use out on the water on a paddleboard. They are extremely loud and do not require much effort for older people with poor lungs. The plastic is a good quality. The whistle performs as advertised.

Lifeguard Halloween Costume
My husband and I dressed up as lifeguards for Halloween (and our dog was a shark) and these whistles worked great for us. Unfortunately, the string from one of them broke and I had to tie the ends back together to use it, but I didn't mind. I'm not actually a lifeguard so I can't say how well they would work for that profession but for Halloween, it turned out awesome!

Works as expected
They do feel a little cheap but they are super loud and just what we needed for the kayaks. I'd say it's a great value for the price and seems to be just what I was looking for.
