I bought these lights and I am very impressed with them. I have had them up about a month now and they work perfectly. They are nice and bright and they stay on all night. They don't run out of power after 4 hours like the cheaper ones. I am very happy with these. Highly recommended

Newly installed on an outside playhouse. Bright and they do their job! I ordered two lights. I wanted to wrap one on the outside and one on the inside of the house. However, I underestimated the size of the roof on the playhouse. Two lights did not wrap around the full length of the house. I wish I could have ordered a larger light strip with one solar panel instead of having to install two black solar panels on the roof. I will watch to see if these get hot and update this post. If they work well I plan on buying some for the inside of the house. The lights do not turn on if there is any light at all. Would be interesting if they turned on if the panel was near any artificial light. Be careful when taking off the tape off the back. The brown paper over the tape sticks to the tape so if you aren’t careful you can pull of the tape. The strip does not bend well- which it shouldn’t because it is wire- but it’s good to know if you’re thinking of doing something similar. I did not cut the strip since I didn’t have enough of it. I did unroll the entire light strip and start taping with the end of the roll so I knew where to install the solar panel. Hoping this withstands the elements and stays bright tonight.UPDATE: It's been about two weeks since I installed the lights on the playhouse. The lights don't come on at the same time since there are two of them (I recommend putting them side by side so this doesn't happen). One of the rope lights has dimmed in a spot (not the entire rope light- just one part). Very annoying as the rest of the lights are bright. I'm going to contact the seller and see if there's anything I can do to "fix" the light. For the dimming after two weeks I've knocked my rating down a star. The other rope light is still going strong. It may just be that one is defective.UPDATE: The seller responded quickly to my inquiry about fixing the light. Seller is shipping me a new light strip! I am very happy with their customer service and quick response.Update: It’s been a full year since I installed these lights. They’re still very bright and I’ve had no further issues. Honestly, I’m a little shocked with how well they’ve held up outside in the elements. Overall these are great and I highly recommend.

Lights worked great for my custom project for about a month and then they just stopped coming on. Played with all the buttons on the back of the solar panel and can't get it to turn back on. Kind of frustrating to buy something and have it stop working for some unexplained reason.

If you don't expect much, this set does well. Overall, I'm satisfied and it worked out for this small install.The good:- bright enough for my project- easy to use- automatically turns on when it gets dark- easy to cut to length (don't plan on extending it)The bad:- can't unplug lights from battery pack- can't point straight up when mounted to a vertical wall (I cut some of the plastic on the arm so it could tilt enough)- mounting screws are cheap, I broke one by accident- not nearly as bright as the marketing photos- too many blinking and flashing modes, it's tedious to just turn it onFor me, all the bad points were minor and it worked well as a gift to light up someone's little free library.

We're using these lights on our pool deck to illuminate a large step. They work amazingly well and are super easy to install. Given we are in Arizona, the solar panel gets plenty of sun and these lights are on dusk to dawn, automatically. They also do well in inclement weather as we experienced a monsoon and there was no issue with the lights, despite the high winds and rain. I highly recommend these.

I picked these out because they are warm white, and I wanted to match my other solar lights. I'm afraid it is not a true warm white and looks bluish compared to my other lights. The solar panel work well and turn on when it is dark. Besides the color it is a good purchase

The solar lights worked really well for the memorial honoring a fallen high school softball player. The team had the memorial built but wanted to have it lit up at night. Since there wasn't an outlet near we tried the solar powered light strip which worked perfectly. When the field lights are on I have to flip the solar cell upside down so the lights will trigger to turn on. But when the field light are out the sensor turns on the lights automatically. Easy to install and the light is a warm light not a blue led light.

These lights are amazing. I bought six strands to attach to concrete. Its been almost 2 years now and they are still attached and still working perfect. They have gone through two winters so far. I have one stand around my fire pit and that is still going strong as well. I will be ordering more to go down my side walk, as it will be out of the way to mow. Great light for hours, before you go to bed. Only thing I would change is having the ability to change the color of lights.
