Great looking and performing watch for a great price.
This is all I ever wanted in a watch - analog display, solar powered, radio timekeeping, stopwatch for timing my running, and a countdown timer. It has a metal case and is much thinner than the Casio predecessor generation. The instructions and the display when it arrived were all in Japanese which was no help at all but it was easy enough to Google the model and English instructions to access the right document (which I printed out). Took me a bit to get used to only three buttons but I've adapted to it pretty quickly. Looks good, easy to use. I had a bit of a hitch in reducing the bracelet size - the pins kept falling out until I figured out the little collars that have to go on each pin. If you need to adjust the size (which most people will have to do), pay particular attention to the very little spacers - or just go to a jeweler who I'm sure would be able to adjust it very quickly.

Upgrade from Japanese waveceptor
Love this watch. The pics don't do it justice. Was using a waveceptor as my daily but one of the arms broke since the case was plastic. This one is very similar looking but the whole case is metal. Setting the time was easy if you use the waveceptor English directions. I switched the band to a nato immediately, definitely my new favorite. The arms and numbers illuminate as well as the top right button is a light. The digital displays can show military time, battery level, day/date/seconds. Since it's solar and atomic it's a very low maintenance watch.

Very nice watch
This is the perfect watch.Band is sturdy well made easy to adjust does not feel cheap like some of my other Casio watches.Case is metal nice finish buttons are easy to push but not too easy so they push accidentally.Solar and sets it's self every night at 12:04 has not failed once so far to make the connection from Kansas City Mo.The lens has no scratches it I believe is hard glass not sapphire almost as good. One beef I had with my other Casio AQ S800W is the plastic lens and body this is a very good watch too if they would put this watches lens and metal body.I recommend this watch and the seller.UPDATE: I have had this watch for 5 years it's sill operating perfectly. One thing I wanted to add is this watch is so readable, the photos don't really show this very well but the hour markers and hands are chrome the face is black so this really makes reading this watch so easy.

Technical and Elegant
I purchased this watch from Amazon.com understanding that it is being sold from Japan. It was a good buying experience. This is an outstanding watch. It has all of the technical attributes I love in a watch with a clean, no-nonsense and impressive appearance. I'm pleased that Casio can make watches with this technical excellence without looking like a barnacle or a monster truck. It's size is on more of a human scale and fits my wrist perfectly. To be sure, my wrist is small even though I lift weights. It seems that modern watches, in the US at least, are getting very large topping even 50 mm in diameter. This one is about 40 mm width which is nearly perfect for me. Apparently this watch is intended for the Japanese market, but the day of week can be set to English and it contains a radio capable of receiving time signals on all continents that provide this service. It synchronized with my first attempt with WWVB in Ft. Collins, CO even at 3:00PM in the afternoon in Portland, OR. I can recommend this watch without reservation. All of the Casio Lineage (this one), Edifice, Wave Ceptor watches are wonderful watches - this one hits the spot on all counts. BTW, overnight under 2100 Lux illumination by my desk lamp moves its charge from "MID" to "HI."

Nailed it!
This has to be the most underrated watch out there. It has it all: atomic timekeeping, three hands, solar, bracelet, alarms galore, lume, reflective markings, stopwatch, backlight, water resistance, world time, dual time, simultaneous day/date, and countdown timer. I bought this as an interim watch until I found my perfect lifetime watch, but this has set the bar so high that I cannot find another watch that can eclipse it.The lume is OK but not great. The reflective markings make it easy to see the time even in very dim light. If even that's not enough, the backlight ensures you can tell the time in ANY light. The radio control function synchronizes the time every night so that every time I look at my watch I know it is within milliseconds of real time. I use the countdown timer almost daily, even for timing during cooking foods. The stopwatch is handy for everything, including answering, "How long does it take, door to door, to drive to school?" and "How long have I really been at lunch?" The hourly chime keeps my ADD brain on task, reminding me that another hour has past. Solar means I am finally done worrying about running down the battery, at least for the next few decades. With a single glance, I can see both the day and the date. Don't let the stock photos fool you, the day of week can be set to English as well as Japanese (as it is in the photos). I use the world time when I travel to see the local time. Dual time let's me see two time zones at once. 50 meter water resistance means that it can get wet or even take a dip in the pool without worrying. All of this functionality can be seen in a normal, low-bling watch that doesn't scream, "LOOK AT ME!" Instead, it blends in. This is an amazing "set it and forget it" timepiece that can follow you in the real world and always tell you the correct time without needing to cater to it. It "just works" and works very well.Is the watch perfect? Of course not. It has several minor things that annoy me.1. The lume is not great and useful mostly as a gimmick or for the first few minutes of darkness.2. The crystal is not sapphire. Spring for the Euro version for another $50 or so and you get sapphire.3. I cannot decide if I like the fact that it has an LCD on the face. This may be good or bad. The purist in me doesn't like it, but it brings a LOT of functionality in a small space.4. It is hard to adjust timer quickly because you can only go forward, not backward, in setting the timer time. That makes it awkward to set a value quickly. One more button would have helped here.5. The stopwatch only goes to 100 minutes, which is annoying for timing a movie, or a short road trip, or a long phone call, or, or, or.6. It will not switch local and world time. This is a petty complaint, but my last watch allowed me to do this quickly when traveling and I miss it, just a little. This watch nailed it, for a very low price.
