They have a vibrant color to write with, are actually the colors of the ice cream too rather than blue or black. They last as long as a normal pen. I took some to use as work too.

I would have to say, overall I am satisfied with the pens. I gave them to my students as part of an end of year gift. A few, when placing them into the goody bags, the ice cream part fell off. Luckily, I bought enough I could spare some. My students loved how they wrote in the color they got.
