I feel ripped off. If you are considering purchasing this book, think again.My 9 yr old daughter has taken an interest in doing some creative duct tape projects. They are fun, simple, practical and her friends are doing it- so I wanted to find some nice books on duct tape projects. I purchased another book and pre-ordered THIS book, anxiously anticipating the April 2012 release. When I received it, I was appalled. I opened the Amazon box and actually thought they forgot to ship my book! Oh no. There it was, hidden beneath the purchase invoice, a paper thin pamphlet, a few glossy pages, as if they were a few pages pulled from a real book. It's listed as "paperback", but it has no back-- it's a freakin' pamphlet!! It's more like a glossy "Duck Tape(R)" advertisement you might receive FREE in the mail, to entice you to buy more of their "Duck Tape" brand tape. Pathetic! The glossy sheets you get for free at rest areas, county fairs, flooring stores, etc. would rival this. Don't get me wrong, it has a few nicely-documented projects in it, but this is a complete ripoff for the price. Let me propose a more fair price: $0.99 w/free shipping. $1.99, tops!I'm willing to pay for a glossy photo book on this topic. I hope they expand it by about 10X and re-list it, but this pamphlet, in current form, is insulting.

I purchased this BOOKLET for my 9 year old daughter. She looooooves making duck tape anything. I read reviews about how this is a cheap product. A pamphlet. A this, a that. Although I would not call this product a book I wasn't disappointed at all with the content. It has several projects that range from super simple to OMG I can't do that. I would call this item a BOOKLET not a book and would recommend this to anyone that enjoys working with duck tape.

The book has less than 20 pages and is a paperbacked book. I was hoping for something more substantial, but all the other related books were back ordered. In the end, the instructions were good, the kids loved it, and it ended up being a great present.I bought this for a 2nd grader. She was able to do a few of the projects, but she definitely needed help for others. Her sisters (7th and 9th grade) were able to make several different projects. I've been told the present was a hit.

Gave as a gift, she seemed to like it. Warning, though, it was VERY slim. I am sure it says how many pages it is in the description, apparently I did not really pay attention. But this book was much thinner than your average magazine. Seemed a bit of a rip off because of that but who am I to say, I was not the one doing the crafts.

I was a little disappointed in how few patterns were in this book. Looks pretty good, let you know after I give it a try

This was a gift to my Nieces (along with some tape). They are 7 and 8. They were able to easily follow the directions in this book. I was worried I would have to help them every step of the way. I admit, I did help a little and was there to supervise the cutting of the tape but for the most part, they were able to do it all on their own.Great for kids and adults!

Like the other reviews it is basically a pamphlet. you can obtain these ideas if you do a google search on someones blog. It is nice to have a handy reference though. I thought I would take the gamble and purchase. Wouldn't do it again. Not worth the money. sorry.

I got this as a gift for my 10 yr old niece and it's perfect for the price. It's very thin, about 15 pages or less but it illustrates all 15 projects very nicely. It's nothing too complicated and perfect projects for a little girl.
