Great for kids

THE HELMET for kids, look no further!
Got this and the pink one for my older two kids. They love them. The helmet fits great (be sure to measure your child's head first to get the right size). I got my youngest the R2-D2 helmet that was popular, but the padding is scratchy and uncomfortable. I am returning it and getting him this same Bell helmet that I got for my older ones. Again, a great helmet. It feels very premium, and even the chin clasp is molded and rounded making it much more comfortable to wear.

I do enjoy the stretchy band that helps this helmet fit even ...
This helmet fits my almost 3 year old perfectly. Now his head is not the average size with it being in the top 100 percentile. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the front visor has broken in one spot so it can move now. I'm don't think that the visor would offer much protection if he were to fall or be hit anyway. I do enjoy the stretchy band that helps this helmet fit even as the child's head grows. The straps are simple to adjust. It has a little guard on the buckle to help prevent pinching the child when hooking the straps together. And always a plus, my child doesn't mind wearing it!

Adhesive pulls hair
Painful for kids to wear because the adhesive holding the foam pads in place is tacky and apparently placed poorly. My kid says it hurts while on, and very painful when taking off. You can see it pulling his hair when he's taking it off. Why not just use a glue to hold the foam pads on that doesn't stay tacky? Or apply it more carefully. You can feel with your finger it's definitely sticky inside the helmet in several spots. Expected better from a name brand.

Safety first
Safe snug fit as helmet doesn't slide side to side or back to front. Nice brim foam thickness for protection. Plastic sun shade is recommended as removable. I'm not fond of the plastic sun shade if the kid accidentally dives face first into something as the helmet has adequate protection. It's removable.
