Great idea, rich watercolors.
This is wonderful! I have been wanting to upgrade my watercolors but was hesitant to go all in on Schmincke or Daniel without testing them. Is the premium price worth it? What colors do I really need for naturalist work? Etc. These colors a highly pigmented, beautiful, and the dots are plenty to actually paint with as a trial. I did a little 5x7 watercolor and still have paint of the colors used. I know 3 or 4 colors I'll want half pans. I do wish they had multiple cards with different colors as I would buy more before deciding on the full color set of maybe 12 I want. Daniel Smith won me over as a customer with this dot card approach!

Economical way to try Daniel Smith colors
A great way to try out Daniel Smith paints. This dot card is very economical as the paint dots are quite large. Personally I could do will with fewer of the luminescent samples, but that’s just according to my preferences. Overall I still found this well worth the price and it gives me a great idea of colors I might want in a larger format. Wonderful paints.

Valuable tool
This has been immensely helpful in learning more about watercolors without investing a ton on tubes I’ll never use. I can look at this card and see which ones I use the most and purchase those or explore similar shades and opacities. As a beginner, it is helpful to learn which are more opaque and understand the naming like iridescent shades. Knowing a description vs seeing how it applies on paper is helpful. When traveling, I’ve brought this instead of a ton of tubes. Best purchase so far in my watercolor journey.

Professional grade colors that don't break the bank!
This is a WONDERFUL foray into watercolors for those that aren't sure about such a costly hobby. Daniel Smith has been around for a long time - when I was in the military I loved the yearly catalog and there was always someone to answer questions at ALL levels of learning. To be able to have access to the whole library of colours at a tiny fraction of what the cost would be for just a few colors. Every level of watercolor enthusiasts can explore and enjoy professional quality paints too!

Inexpensive way to try Daniel Smith colors
Being able to try colors without having to buy an expensive tube of paint helps you decide what to add to your pallette. What I didn't like about this dot card is that the dots of paint were very inconsistent in size. I also wish the iridescent colors would have been left off and more watercolors put in their place. Undersea green was absent and I really wanted to see that color in person. There may be other dot cards available. Overall, I like the chance to sample colors. I'm already a Daniel Smith fan and will be adding to my palette.

Brilliant colors, quality, easy to use, great addition to paint colors.
Awesome quality and color choice, great for travel. Every artist can find a use for these! Enough paint for at least 1-3. 8 x 10 pictures depending on how saturated you want the color, and I only use one or two dots per grouping and mix shades and tones, so this reallyy goes along way.

Great colors on this palette
Love this sampler, price was great! Paint quality was awesome! I liked this product as it gave me enough colors to use and some I loved and then bought the bigger tubes of my favorites. Durability of paints on paper was very good! The size and look of paper was perfect with loads of different colors to choose!

Great sample - consistent size dots. Totally worth it!
I found the dot-sized samples to be consistent in amount. This is a great way to sample paints before committing to a whole tube or pan. I like to get mini-pans, put a dot of water in them, and then using a razor, I can razor off the dot into the mini pan and then I get the most out of the colors for a swatch and to use it on an actual watercolor to see if I like it! Once it dries, the dot melds into the mini-pan (which are the perfect size for dots!) and then I have a tiny mini palette. Granted, it's not a lot of paint. You aren't going to be able to paint a whole background on a 5x7 or anything with one dot, but it's a good way to get more use out of the dot than letting most of the color bleed back into the paper that it's attached to. And do I get some paper with my dots? Most of the time, yes. But does it affect my use of my little sample that I'm trying to see if I want to buy a whole tube of it? Nope! So it works for me and maybe it will work for you too!

Great reference Wish I had them all.
Great to identify colours. A couple of spots obscured the colour name wish I could afford all these charts as they are so handy. Enough colour on spot to do a small area to try in actual painting

一枚で複数の色を試せる。
使用したことのない色を試せました。 私の好みの色があり嬉しかったです。原石の入っている絵の具はラメのような質感が入っており綺麗でした。
