First of all, this camera is sleek and very nice. It comes in a nice package which is great for storage when not in use. The camera itself is super durable and very easy to use. I recently used the camera to find some perch while ice fishing. Was nice to locate the pod of Perch and increase the amount of time catching rather than searching. The camera itself took the cold water well. Clear Crisp Pictures and Video. Very Pleased!!!I am very excited to use this camera this summer while out on the boat. I am intrigued to see some of the underwater locations I have found and see what actually is there. This is a must have for all anglers alike. Very impressed and can not say enough about this Camera. You will not be sorry with this purchase!

The media could not be loaded. I have to give this a three star instead of a five for two reasons. First, the package did not include the float or weighting devices, which I assumed were standard and for the price SHOULD be included... (Even the included user manual stated they should have been included parts). Second, the app to use this device is the WORST app I have have ever downloaded. It must crash every 2 minutes, even when the app is not running. The download time from device to the app is unbearable. I suggest hard-wiring with a USB capable device to download and view video, otherwise you will spend HOURS trying to download the video. Other than those complaints, the device seems to work as it says. It is a bit tedious having to use the app to control it, but the footage has been pretty high quality and it is proving to be durable.

Original review: "The camera itself looks good, if you drop it into the water is turns on etc, however the app is unresponsive on 3 of my Sony Experia phones, I was reading up on it and does not work on many other phones therefor the product is a useless 240 dollar crap, or a 240 fishing weight. Customer support did not respond the email sent. to bad you cant gave out 0 stars"After 4-5 hrs of tinkering uninstall re install etc I was able to make it work, I had to uninstall certain video apps in order to make it work along other things. Still wont get more then 2 stars for now.I think it was created by a tech guy with not so much consultation with an everyday fisherman, the laser cut stainless steel "connector leader -main line" was never seen a tumbler vibrator which would easy up edges, sharp edges should have been"de-burred".the buoyancy it not to bad but its still not good enough, fishing for pan fish with a "match float" you catch alot switching to this device you will catch the some. I will take it to the water and I will follow up on these

Looked like a great idea, but that is where it ends.Does not work as advertised, and can not get any support.Looks like they closed the shop.

Great product. However, didn’t know this package lacks the float and weights....still a good camera and very user friendly app

"Like fishfinders, I hoped Spydro would give me a new perspective for my bass fishing success. Strapping my Spydro to the Trolling motor housing is by far a unique way to employee the camera, and boy you can see stuff. I set the camera for 30-sec to 1-minute time frames and go check out laydowns, stumps fields, weedlines, shallower humps and docks. These are fast drops. What comes up on the camera is the direct evidence of what is going on below. As for casting Spydro, BUY it! Use triple the test line to the camera than you use to the bait (i.e. 45 pound braid to the camera, 15 pound mono to the lure). Recommended – five stars."
