To do so, he recruits a talented young woodcarver named Tank (Josh Green). But Magrew's plans get complicated when his daughter (appealingly played by Emily Harrison) falls for the young man. Fans of the Puppet Master series will probably enjoy this sixth installment. The three leads are well cast, the production design shows some imagination, and the script works--until the abrupt and nonsensical ending. It's as if the last reel were missing, which might explain its actual running time of 78 minutes (not the 90 minutes promised on the case). The puppets also seem less animated than in previous films; nevertheless, they still manage to get their whacks in. Trivia factoid: director "Victoria Sloane" is one of several stage names used by David DeCoteau, who also directed Puppet Masters III and 7. --Geof Miller

Ridiculous tbh
SPOILERS AHEAD. Okay so the movie starts off with a dude named Tank, who is simple, to put it politely, despite it never being brought up in the movie. I mean dude’s name is Tank, he wears overalls all the time, and he’s just a couple sandwiches shy of a picnic, you feel? So ol buddy Tank over here essentially gets involved with puppet Hitler since the guy is trying to create the perfect puppet and nazi’s are an ever present theme in this series. Fast forward past a ridiculous rape attempt, the worst kissing I’ve ever seen, and some puppet repair, and Tank ends up in a puppet/robot hybrid with zero emotion and he kills the latest puppet master before the movie abruptly ends when the scene isn’t even finished. It’s wild start to finish while simultaneously being a huge waste of time. Will I watch the remainder of the 14 movies? Absolutely.

The Living Dead Dolls
Hey, it's the Living Dead Girl here! 1st off I am sick of hearing about how bad this movie is! Me my husband and my friends have been having a Puppet Master Party) and that is all I have heard on these reviews! In fact we heard it so much it just ticked me off! So 1st off let's start with special effects; I get sick of hearing this with scary movies, some of the best scary movies have these kind, and hello! These are the ones I grew up on! 2nd I like this plotline, and about Leech woman coming back from the 2nd film and brought here? So what? It's a movie; you can bring characters back it's not a crime! I like the Freak Show Puppet show...it's just 2 bad Corey Feldman couldn't have been in this one 2 cause he was a great puppet master! And if I have to hear one more time about how the ending just cuts off when really Tank was turned into the puppet in a reverse Pinochio way...so go back and watch the movie people....give it a chance; this is coming from a girl who's been watching scary movies since she was 8 and knows her stuff, much appreciated!

Puppet Master Fan
Man, I tried to buy this on Blu-Ray but it was so expensive I couldn't get it so I had to get it on DVD. But it does play perfectly. No scratches.

Low budget B-movie fun!
The series starts a little slow but Puppet Master 3-5 are genuinely good movies. The whole series has great stop motion animation and puppet work. The story overall is pretty fun and there's still plenty more to go.

Der 6. Teil der kultigen Puppet Master Reihe!
Der 6. Teil kommt genau wie Teil 4 und 5 nicht mehr an die Klasse der ersten 3 Teile ran. Das ist im großen und ganzen aber nicht weiter tragisch, da die beliebtesten Puppen (Blade, Pinhead, Jester, Six-Shooter und Tunneler) noch immer mit von der Partie sind. Der brühmte Puppet Master Soundtrack ist auch immer noch mit dabei und spannend ist der Film zwischendurch auch. Das einzige was derbe entäuscht sind die schlechten Splatter-Effekte. Da kennen wir von Teil 1-3 aber was ganz anderes. Alles in allem solide Fortsetzung,aber immernoch Kult!
