Did not fit our Bosch stove. It is too small.

The bulb went on our Neff (only about 18 months old oven) and was not able to undo the glass cover and due to the element could not get any tool (like a boa strap) around it.Order the removal tool (and chose to get the glass cover as well as a backup) and expected it to do the job - even told the missus to try it before I was back from work. She still could not remove it and said the tool kept slipping off. When I tried it I had the same result and was about to send it all back when I decided to try a little basic physics.I put the tool in the freezer for about 15 minutes and warmed the glass cover with a hairdrier and this time it came off almost effortlessly. I think the cooling in the freezer made the plastic tool a little less flexible and stopped it slipping off.Hence 4 out of 5 stars.

This review is largely about the removal tool than the lens cover. It just so happens at the time I needed to get one, I could not purchase the removal tool in its own.I struggled to change bulbs in my NEFF oven for a long time on and off for the simple reason I was not able to remove the lens cover - not by hand anyway. The cover always gave the impression of beginning to turn but would then just stop. It would rock a little to the left and back to the right but would not turn all the way round as required. It was quite unnerving to simply try harder as I recalled the original installation had been a cakewalk. I tried the usual tried and tested schemes like gripping the cover with a kitchen towel for maximum purchase but all to no avail. Frustrated, I decided to just go for it but the location of the lamp meant one's hand ends up at a poor angle that does not allow for truly decent purchase.I then read up on the removal tool and thought I'd give that a go.It was so embarrassingly easy to remove the lens cover with this tool that I kept the experience secret for several weeks and have only now decided to come clean.No pros and cons for this review - just a simple verdict as follows: This is a no brainer; makes removing the lens cover from the oven a walk in the park.

This removal tool is excellent, my wife cross threaded the glass bulb lens cover the last time she changed the oven bulb and we could not remove it, but this tool removed it without any problems and did not break the glass lens cover. We now have a spare lens cover just incase any problems in future. Job well done.

A couple of days after fitting the “tough glass” it broke off and feel onto omelette browning under the grill, straight into the bin. Need to find an official place to buy from. Complete waste of money. Would like a refund

I bought this having previously bought a removal tool for my Neff oven light cover but failed to get it off. In the end the solution for me was to smash the stuck cover, which then loosened the thread so I could remove it easily. This new glass cover works well. If you need a removal tool I'd suggest buying it together with a new glass cover in case you have to break it as I did
