Pac-Man Lovers - Adjust Your Joysticks
If you’re wanting to play early console games like Pac-Man, Donkey King, Pitfall, or others, they’ll work much better with the joysticks set to 4-way instead of 8-way, which is their default configuration. Making this adjustment is very simple by pulling off the clear plastic piece on the bottom of the joystick, lightly pushing inward on the center ring of the plastic piece, and turning the inner ring until the two protruding plastic pieces are in the 10:30/3:30 positions. For a very helpful video on how to do this, search for a video called “How to change your Sanwa joystick from 8-way to 4-way.” It’s a different joystick brand but this one can be changed using the same method.

I'm not quite sold on the joysticks... but overall am happy with the purchase.
These were incredibly easy to install (once I read the wiring diagram for the updated encoders). Definitely make sure you wire them correctly the first time, because the quick disconnects definitely want to stay connected. Using the joysticks for many games is fine, but for fighters they feel like they leave a little bit to be desired. Quarter circles (a staple in most fighting games) seem pretty inconsistent to hit. The ball tops definitely feel on the cheaper side (but this is easily remedied (I already changed out one as you can see in the image). The buttons seem very responsive and the LED's are bright.

Perfect. No complaints
Everything works perfect. Nothing missing. Contacted customer service regarding the leds. Answered same day. The ONLY thing I could ask for is a picture or description of how to install the joystick. Whether it goes under the panel or over is a mystery at the moment. Shipping was waaay faster than estimated.

Overall, this is a nice product. I was using both joysticks normally a week ago and suddenly this week when I powered on the system, white buttons went off and blue buttons started to blink. I have tested all white buttons by connecting them into blue encoder and all of them worked (including stick). So, my guess is that white encoder is dead; I have tried to contact the seller for warranty but no luck. It should be specified the best way to protect the system against short circuit.

but the joysticks are not great at all
The buttons, and LEDs work very well, the USB control card also detected with RetroPie with no issues, but the joysticks are not great at all. Attempting to play pacman is frustrating to say the least, most of the time when you attempt to go up or down etc the directional movement never goes where you want to go.

Works Great in5 Retropi!
Works great. Using with Retropie. Not the highest of quality - however it works for my custom tabletop arcade.

These are great! Had them for a month or so now
These are great! Had them for a month or so now, they feel on par with my official arcade stick parts from other companies and love that they make the LED buttons screw downs. Haven't noticed any delay on the encoder and it works with Linux with no issues that I've had.

Garbage.
I build arcade machines and these are awful. After a week or less they start to malfunction. Completely frustrating, avoid at all cost
