This works very well to reduce the frequency and severity of my hot flashes. I take one pill each day. It takes a week or so for them to start working. For some people, this completely takes away their hot flashes. For myself and others, it causes me to have less hot flashes, and it takes the edge off of the hot flashes I still have. When I say, take the edge off, I mean that the hot flash doesn't last as long as it used to, and I don't get as hot and uncomfortable as I used to.UPDATE After taking this Black Cohosh daily, for 2 months, I no longer had hot flashes. Helps with hot flashes.

I have been using Black Cohosh for over 30 years to help with hot flashes associated with menopause. I like this product because of the time release. It is the right amount and overall, I sleep better with fewer hot flashes when using this product.

Extended release means I do not have to carry pills to pop every 2-4 hours. I take one in the morning, one in the evening, and one at bedtime. It does not do anything for me until I have consistently taken them for a few days. After that it is a noticeable suppression of the extreme hot flashes with no other side effects.

Didn't notice a difference

I take one of these each night before bed and it works great for me!Recently, I found out that I can't have gluten and this was a top priority for me when searching for a natural product I could use.I used to have night sweats which constantly woke me up throughout the night, and daytime sweats sometimes too, but this really helped me with that. Headaches may have been part of my issue and may have been resolved with this product - however I'm not sure because I got new glasses about the same time.Tried another brand because it was cheaper and it didn't work.The company which sold it through Amazon was very quick in sending it out too.Hope it works as well for you!

I bought this to relieve my hot flashes and it did absolutely nothing, don't waste your money on this.

When I started having some hot flashes (being of a 'certain age'), I heard mixed reviews about black cohosh. I did some research about double blind & placebo studies that had mixed results. I decided to try it, as the hot flashes & night sweats were annoying AF. I was pleasantly surprised that it seemed to help within a few days. It seems to work for me just fine. My advice, go ahead and try it, hopefully it will work for you too.
