When I first stumbled upon the world of Eberron back in the mists of 3rd edition it seemed as though it wanted to be all things to all men. High magic, gritty noir, overblown pulp, Cold War intrigue, steam punk, demons, dragons, dinosaurs... a heady mix of themes that left you dizzy and not quite knowing where you were.But things have moved on from those 3rd edition days. The imaginations of gamers have broadened out from their isolated pockets of single-genre play. Somehow it no longer feels like heresy to mix Conan-style sword and sorcery with Renaissance intrigue, technological magic and weird horror. Classic D&D settings still thrive (Frog God Games’ Lost Lands and Chaosium’s Glorantha being great examples), but increasingly publishers are reaching for more ambitious realms (Kobold Press’ Midgard or Fat Goblin Games’ Shadows Over Vathak to name but two).With this 5th edition version of Eberron, Wizards of the Coast have hit the mark and found the crest of the zeitgeist wave. An impressive campaign guide and sourcebook. Over 300 pages detailing all aspects of the world of Eberron as well as an introductory adventure suitable for beginners. The double-sided poster map is great quality.

The Best 5e Expansion Book by a country mile
I have been collecting these books for a little while now, and it's always a treat to pore through the pages and learn the new lore and check out the new art work, but I'm always underwhelmed by the quantity of new info that you get. Most books give you a handful of new ways to play existing classes (which you could have easily homebrewed), Eberron is the only book that gives you an entire new class, several new playable races, and a whole new world, rich with lore and adventure to explore - there's even a map, nay at atlas of this vast new world!!If you only buy one additional 5e book, make it this one - there's everything from robots to dinosaurs and I can't wait to run it!!

Another great 5e supplement for DMs and players!
I prefer my RPG sourcebooks to have a fair amount of "crunch" in them, which is to say rules, character options, magic items, monster/NPC stat blocks, etc. This book does a great job of introducing the world of Eberron to folks who might not have used it as a setting before and reintroducing it to those who have, and it's got lore and worldbuilding about the world in abundance. But I was so glad to see that it contains a lot of crunch to accompany that fluff. A whole bunch of new options for types or sub-types of humanoid you can play as, the first fully official new class for 5e since the PHB, and a campaign with NPCs, magic items and monsters unique to the world of Eberron, but which could easily be borrowed for other campaigns.If you're interested in Eberron itself this book is an absolute must, but even if you're just looking to expand the options for your play in a general sense, I'd still recommend it highly!

Adds a new depth to D&D
Welcome to Eberron, where magic, Politics and intrigue would confuse even a Lannister of Westeros. From its clever introduction of Technology (including weapons) to the new approach to races such as Orcs this book evolves potential plots without loosing site of core D&D mechanics. Have to go the airship is about to leave and that bloody Gnome has a cunning plan.

Brilliant campaign setting with plenty for everyone
Eberron is an amazingly deep setting for Dungeon Masters, with reprints for some beast races and the Artificer class for players too. It's really well put together and an absolute asset just to see how to do world-building right. That and the way that inserting Artificing into your setting makes many of the monsters and items in this book mesh brilliantly with most campaign worlds.

Amazing new setting with new ideas for PCs and DMs alike!
Eberron is an awesome setting and provides a great twist for your fantasy worlds. I use some elements of Eberron for my homebrew campaign and it ports very well. The new character races are really flexible and the dragon marks work very well as potential boon loot.Good value for some much new in a beautifully presented book that came in tip top condition. Would recommend!

Great setting
The Eberron setting is pretty awesome. A small adventure is tucked in the book. Includes build info for several playable races including Warforged, adds new subclasses and adds the Artificer playable class to 5e.

If you want a sci-fi setting for your D&D you need Eberron
I bought this so I could stop googling all my information on the Kalashtars and get it straight from the source! Tons of info for creating a more science-y campaign, and also has the Artificer class if you're looking for it. Great addition to my growing collection
