I have dark brown hair with highlights and the black pen is absolutely useless for me -- it's far too dark to look natural (think black sharpie). I also think it may be damaged because the tip of the marker protrudes far more than that of the brown pen. The black pen also leaks whereas the brown one does not.I wish the brown pen were a few shades darker. It would also be nice to get two of the same color because I don't understand the point of having a pen that's pitch black and another pen that's a soft light brown -- who would need both of these colors?The pens do stay on decently. I tested it by going to sleep with my eyebrows on and they were there the next morning. With that being said, the ink easily washes away with make-up remover.Overall, I'm not sure I'd purchase this again. Unless they come out with different shades and/or the option to buy multiple of the same shade as opposed to automatically getting a mixed box.

Edit: when I opened the black pen it was broken/useless. The material had come out of the tube and was messy. I tried contacting the seller/store and they didn’t respond to me at all in order to send me a new product or resolve the issue. I waited patiently but ended up returning it. The production of this product is cheap. Try maybelline’s first.Original: I’m giving it 5 stars only because it’s not their fault I don’t know exactly how to put this on correctly. I have practice to do. And I’m sure it’d look much better when I know how to use it properly. It’s easy to make thin strokes. Just make sure to watch YouTube videos on techniques.

So it should be a good match for all shades of brown.Compact, all in one, 2pieced felt tipped marker-pen is perfect, especially for ppl more advanced/ seasoned with drawing on makeup/or a Brow Tech, being that's its waterproof it takes A LOT longer to fix & shape, so if your just new at this, either apply method, personally I would master being able to find a "fool proof" filling technique beforehand with some medium not so "permanent" lol.

This is my first time trying a product like this so i was not sure what to expect and was a bit sceptical that it would be easy and did not smudge. I like this 2 pack because I was able to see what color fit me best. They are very easy to use and have great pigment. The product was easy to work with and was precise in where I wanted it to be so less mess to clean up when shaping your brows. When they say smudge proof they mean it my basic makeup wipes had a hard time taking it off so I had to use my coconut oil. I would definitely recommend this product. And remember to store pens upside down so the liquide stays at the tip for easier application.

Before you purchase this item couple things you should know:It comes in black and brown color. Make sure your hair is somewhat close to those two options for more natural look.For me, it was not easy to make the lines look natural, and took me some time to learn to blend the lines for more soft lines.How I use it:I couldn't use the pencil to draw my whole eyebrows, just too much for me. But found they are perfect to cover my bald patches my eyebrows (see pictures). I only use the black one since it matches my hair color in the bald spot. Otherwise, they do last all day. I hope they make a grey/brown color available.

If you've used eyebrow pens like this before and you've mastered the application technique, then this might be the product for you. If not, get ready for a steep learning curve as you figure out the best way to apply the upward and sideways pen strokes to give yourself those realistic individual "microbladed" hairs. Once you've mastered the movements, you'll need to practice actually CREATING the eyebrow shape you want, every single time. Either way, the product didn't seem to last very long at all, and the felt tips started to dull very quickly, no longer giving you a defined stroke.I ended up forking over the cash for microblading, and it was the best decision for me!

I haven't had this very long. I've only used it twice so far. It stays on good however, and in the morning, I only needed to touch up a little bit with an eyebrow pencil. At night, it comes off nicely with a makeup remover wipe. It seemed to apply easily also. I saw some reviews that mentioned "green color". That has not happened to me thus far. All in all, at this point, I like the product very much. BUT, I wish we could choose the colors. I don't think I will be using the black. I would have preferred two brown ones.
