Just had lights on my dash, that made no sense. Its a 3 Year old car! What the heck!
So many warning lights on the dashboard. I took the car to the dealer, and they fixed it. Luckily it was fixed by the extended warrenty. New part and 4.5 hours of labor. At the current repair rate, thankfully I got the extended warranty.But next time it could be my repair. This will be a great tool to understand what going on. It is easy to use and I've tested both my vehicles.Well worth it.

For the price it's a nice little scanner. Nice and compact!
For the price it's a nice little compact scanner. It can graph, diagnose, and has a DTC library and does live data.Of course it's no pro diagnostic but for regular garage use its fine. It catches MAF, MAp, O2, coolant and air temps, engine load, and more. Can't ask for much more in a basic scanner.Also multi language and measurements if you prefer.The ONLY complaint ( hence the 4 stars not 5 ) is that at times you press a menu scroll button and have to do it a couple times. It will sit there. But for the money spent? It's worth the money by all means. At this price you could keep 1 in every glove box!

VERY HANDY!
I got a new car and about 2 months after having it the check engine light came on and I freaked out. I went to the service station and the extended warranty I bought wasn't going to cover the $50 diagnostic fee so after talking to a few friends of mine they suggested to get one of these. Needless to say I'm so happy I did because it was just a loose gas cap.

Scanner is highly accurate
My wife gave me this scanner as I love tinkering with my cars. It accurately diagnosed the problem lights appearing in my dash. It made my job easy as I was able to fix every problem. A month ago, my cousin from Canada came for a visit. About that time, my Toyota Highlander started missing badly. He used the scanner, found the faulty spark and replaced it. The Highlander has been running perfectly since. Canadian Cuz was so impressed so I bought him the exact same model. He was blown away. You sure can't beat the price. With what I've saved in auto repairs, it has paid for itself many times over. I'd give it a 6 star rating if I could.

It worked on my 2002 Tacoma.
I plugged it in and gave me a code for my problem just like it is supposed to. It is not programmable or updatable which was ok for me.

I keep an obd2 reader in all the cars.
I like that the reader came with a nice bag to keep in the glove box. The reader is very simple to use. I have an Audi that love to through the check engine light Is very convenient to plug it in read the codes and make sure it’s not anything to worry about. The car like to throw a lean code and a rich code after driving on the freeway every 700-1000 miles. I think it’s a o2 sensor .
