PELONIS FS40-16JRB Oscillating Pedestal Fan, 16 inch-AC Motor, Black

This is the second black pedestal fan I ordered from Amazon the first brand stopped working after just a week and I was expecting similar maybe with this thought well give it a try who knows, but this is definitely better quality and same price too. It has a great fan noise, no rattling sounds and remote works perfect. I need a fan noise and to circulate air in my bedroom when I go to sleep and I really like this fan bc I can not use the ceiling fan in my bedroom bc it blows air right on my face...hair flies a bit and so no-go...this pedestal fan is great and drowns out other noises without being too loud. Oh I should say that my exercise room is just off from my bedroom and I take this fan in there when its hot out bc it can go up in speed and when it does it is powerful and cools me off working out. I use it only on level 1 for sleeping purposes, but as you increase the levels it really does cool a room down, now the higher the level the noise does increase a bit, but again no rattling noise so consistent hum.

Well made fan! Heavy, strong, perfect! I used a box fan for YEARS, and finally decided after the last one went out to try out a pedestal fan. SO happy I did! It is loud on the highest setting, but for me that's a godsend (It helps me sleep!). I can have my heat on high enough to make my partner warm and cozy, but at the same time I feel cool and rested with this fan. Would recommend! And yes, the remote works as described. I just never find myself using it, considering it's right next to the bed.

I bought this fan to replace a tower fan I was using on my screened-in patio last summer, which died sometime over the winter while not in use. I've only used it for about a week, but it seems pretty decent. I didn't want to spend a lot, so I'm pleased with the quality for the money. The unit was easy to assemble even without close examination of the directions. I just kinda "eyeballed" them briefly. The only two things that could be better is the attachment of the motor to the stand. It seems a little precarious with only a tightened screw securing the top and bottom parts (I would have preferred them being bolted together). And the other thing is I wish the fan had more of a range of tilt, especially downward. The remote is very handy because I often sit down forgetting to turn on the fan. As long as I don't have to mess with the oscillating feature, the remote has all other operations covered. The remote caddy that attaches to the stand is a nice touch, but I'm not sure how practical that is -- maybe for long-term storage. This unit operates quietly on the first two speeds, but generates some white noise at its top speed. It isn't annoying though -- just a humming sound. I hope this unit continues to work this well for the rest of the summer and survives the winter storage better than my other fan.

The media could not be loaded.  I honestly recommend it! The price it’s not bad at all in my opinion. I been using it for a little bit more than a month now and so far it’s working great. I use it for about 12 hours a day almost everyday and it works really well. It was really easy to assemble it, It only took me like 15 minutes. In my opinion it’s very quite even when is on high it’s not so laud, I don’t know if it will be always this quiete but for now it’s good. The remote control works fine, although sometimes I have to press it two or three times for it to work. If I’m not really close to it as I show in the video, like if I’m try to change the speed or put the timer or turn it on/off from my bed. I don’t know if it’s just mine or something I do I don’t know but I don’t think it is a big deal because it still works. I read some comments on which some people had a problem with the paint, they said that when they got it in black it came with some scratches or some type of sticky stuff on it or both things. Mine didn’t came like that which is good because I was a little bit scared of that but it’s good as one can observe in the video I did. Other than that this fan is great. Overall it’s worth it!

Overall Awesome fan, the description says it all...Quiet and Easy-Assembly. The sleek looking design is pretty nice for the price!Only thing is, it doesn't give as much air power as far as Cooling, but you expect that from the price. Remote control holder was a little bent from the side, maybe from shipping and handling but, I dont need it. Have a Screwdriver handy...just for minor tightening of bolts.I will definitely recommend this product to all the people I know!

I've owned a few fans and what immediately struck me was the construction (quality) of materials for the price point. Top notch. That aside, assembly was easy save for my oversight of *NOT* looking at the manual as I frustratingly tried to spin the knob that goes over than fan clockwise - you have to do it counter-clockwise. That's the only thing I would suggest they improve, when was the last time you tightened something counter-clockwise? I looked at the manual and that was quickly resolved. Once setup, worked as expected, not excessively noisy and iterating the quality of materials is a standout. Plus, its shiny appearance gives an aura of "very high quality" even at a distance, far above any other fan I've ever owned. At this point, I don't think I would consider any other brand based on my experience with this Pelonis fan so far.

Aunque el ventilador fisicamente es muy bonito y cuenta hasta con un control remoto, en cuestión de funcionabilidad es terriblemente ruidoso, al grado de no poder tener una llamada telefónica a gusto a causa del rudio, definitivamente no lo recomiendo al menos claro que sea para un area abierta con mucho ruido.

This fan is very well made. It was easy to assemble, and is extremely solid when completed. It is not the quietest fan that I've ever seen, but it is quiet enough for my bedroom. The only thing was that it was shipped by mail from California, and with the current problems of the U.S. Postal Service, it took a while to get here - not Amazon's fault. It is (I believe) the lowest cost fan with a remote control on the Amazon site, and it is well worth the money. Just make sure that you have two AAA batteries for the remote - it doesn't come with any.

Very easy to assemble,very easy to use and VERY GOOD AIR FLOW and quiet well worth the money and well worth the time..You will enjoy this awesome fan Even 1 night of using this,is a charm the remote is also easier to use this is for sure should be more expensive but its not GRAB IT WHILE YOU CAN ..

Great fan, keeps the air moving even on the lowest setting. The remote is a bonus I don't have to get up to change the speed. The timer works great at night in the bedroom shuts off in the morning before you wake up.
