This is one of my very favorite wolf toy models
This is one of my very favorite wolf toy models. It has very good form and fur direction. It has dewclaws, carpal pads, four toes on each foot... everything is nice and accurate.Unlike a lot of other canine models, this one's face was done with careful precision, and doesn't look skewed or have an odd eye looking off to one side. The face details (mouth, nose) aren't just painted on, they're carved in. Mine came a nice shade of black - a bit darker than online pictures showed. the nose, mouth, and claws (but not paw pads) are darker than the rest, but otherwise there is no variation to the hues in the pelt or anything. Also, the eyes were more orange than yellow. Overall, it looks amazing. I'd definitely recommend it.Further details: the whole thing is made of a light, very hard rubber. It's not cheep, though, so don't get me wrong. The legs have a bit of give to them, but won't wobble. The company words on the underside are small and almost unnoticeable. There is a seam where the shoulders meet the body that looks like it was fused together. The fur length and direction is very realistic, and the legs have nice muscle detail.IMPORTANT NOTE: This model is several times as big as most wolf toy models, so keep that in mind when buying. Personally, I really like it bigger; it allowed for more detailing.I'd recommend this to any toy model collector, canine enthusiast, or parent/teacher looking to get something safe and fun for a child.

Excellent wolf figure!
Beautiful wolf figure. Lifelike sculpt, has lots of details. The paint job is very nice, and the wolf's expression looks much nicer in person than it does pictured here.The figure looks great from all angles, and makes for great artistic reference. Would be a good collector's item or toy.

Good detail and construction, is large
This figure has good detail on eyes, nose, mouth, claws, foot pads, even with the dark over all color, to be expected. It is larger, so not so good for comparison with other mammals. This was for an adult, but since it is very sturdy and has NO moving parts at all it should work well with children, even vigorous play.

Too big
This wolf has nice detail as I LOVE WOLVES!! But it is WAY too big to be used with my Schleich wolves that I use frequently. But as I said, this black wolf has nice detail for a figure.
