HeimVision 1080P CA01 Wireless Security Camera for HeimVision 8CH WiFi Surveillance System, 2.0MP IP Cameras Outdoor with 65ft Night Vision, IP66 Waterproof, Motion Alert, No Video Cable Needed

I bought 2 of the CA03 cameras as add-ons to my HeimVision Assure K-31 surveillance system. The K-31 system comes with 4 pre-paired cameras and the CA03 is the specific camera needed to expand the system up to 4 additional cameras. Image quality, like the pre-paired cameras, is exceptional for day vision and is of very good quality for night vision (even if it’s in black and white). The camera and its base are constructed of metal and appear very durable. One slight downside if you’re desiring to install the cameras with no wiring exposed (inside soffits and walls) and not surface wired as the instructions indicate, is the the size of Ethernet connector (used for pairing if you need or prefer to hard wire the cameras and not use them wirelessly) which is in tandem with the 12 volt DC power connector. In order to accommodate the cords through a surface, a hole 7/8 of an inch must be bored. That presents a rather large hole to patch if the cameras are ever removed. But the finished installation is so much neater than surface wiring them. In all the CA03 camera seamlessly incorporates into my HeimVision Assure K-31.

I purchased the HeimVision 1080P Security System which came with 4 cameras and upgradeable to a total of 6 Cameras. When I first installed one of these cameras, I really was in awe at far technology has matured regarding the Color, night vision, and quality of a security system. When I first received this system, I tested all the Cameras and the DVR to verify they all worked. What an impressive product. Within a month, I expanded to 6 Cameras and found the HeimVision technical personnel very informative, and easy to understand regardless of how naïve my questions may have come across. Hence, I rated this product a 5 star. In todays market, so many companies "SAVE" on their field service support personnel and leave you hanging. Not so with HeimVision. This is certainly a Great Company when products such as these are in great demand and need of competitive pricing.

I bought this camera to add to the 4 camera system that I had already installed. I am pleased with the entire system for a very reasonable price. It does not have a speaker option, but that was not a priority for me.

I have become very current tech stupid with no patience for instruction manuals. I set up the four cameras, installed the hard drive, plugged in the mouse then turned the unit on. Within the hour, I was up and running. The color and definition of the images is great not to mention the night vision. I will be getting a second set for our home.

This is an add-on camera, number 5, to a 4-camera system. I have two of these camera systems with one being about 125 miles away. The add-on camera was very easy to integrate and easy to install by following the instructions provided. With the HeimVision app, viewing my remote property is just a few seconds away on my Iphone. Considering the low price and ease of installation and use, this value is hard to beat.

I ordered more cameras than what came with my 8 channel nvr so that i could cover the entire parameter. I was able to set up the 3 cameras that arrived in under 10 minutes. Mounting them and getting to correct position took a little longer but was still much easier using the app. The only thing that took awhile was crawling around in the attic to get the power plugged into a central location, but that was my choice and not a requirement.

Very sharp pictures, see clearly without lighting (video appears in black & white). With light, in Color. Still learning how to use features. Only downside is no sound

Bought this to add to my HeimVision HM241 set-up. This system and cameras are great. Just wish the cameras had slightly better picture quality for a clearer image. Other than that is a wonderful set-up.
