We have a blind and deaf Chihuahua. We purchased a child’s Pack and Play Playpen to keep her safe. We use these pads under the rubber backed throw rugs we put down in case she tinkles. The bottom of the playpen is solid with a fabric covering and can’t be washed. These pads allow us a quick clean up.

I've used Medline products before awhile ago without any issues, however these underpads were very thin, but absorbent. The worst issue was the itchiness. At night I would wake up at night scratching. It was like a nightmare. I will never intentionally buy them again.

if you have a bed, a couch or chair, chances are you don't want urine or any other bodily fluid to get on any of that. Sometimes, a pet might throw up on your couch or your bed (it has happened here) and then you get to remove and wash all bedding all the way down to the mattress. If you have a child who is a bed wetter or an adult who is incontinent, then you know there will be leakage - even when wearing protection. These are great for putting under the person or pet and keep your furniture free from unexpected accidents. Oh, also great when adults spill their drinks or food on the sofa too.

We have used these pads for a variety of applications including lining a dog crate and to catch oil drops from a slowly leaking auto engine. These are very absorbent and perform well, however, When used with petroleum products (I.e. motor oil) the oil will after a day or so deep through the plastic backing. Nevertheless, it still offers tremendous absorption and subsequent easy cleanup
