Description: Half check chains are used for making half check dog collars. When the half check chains are made into a collar, two of the rings have the collar sewn into them and the third ring is used to attach the dog's leash when training. It also is useful as a martingale-like collar preventing your dog from backing out of its collar. With half check collars, the classic buckle is replaced by a chain and the collar is put on by pulling it over the dog's head. Using a half check collar on your dog is similar to using a choke chain, but quite a bit more comfortable for your dog because of the softer fabrics on their neck verses a full metal chain.
