PANASONIC Corded/Cordless Phone System with Answering Machine and One Touch Call Blocking – 3 Handsets - KX-TGF353N (Champagne Gold)

We are very happy with the Panasonic KX-TGF353N DECT 3-Handset home phone system. Much better audio quality than our previous cordless phones. Complete phone book integration between the corded base and the cordless handsets is great, plus if you need it, each cordless handset can have their own separate speed dials for different members of the family. Programming is no worse than anything else you program these days - just read the instructions and follow the menus. Sometimes the cordless menus are slightly different from the corded base and one menu set might be easier to navigate than the other. If you just want to use the phones without programming anything, they will work fine. The quality of the answering machine is good and we have received no complaints so far from our regular callers. This phone system has some useful programmable options and a reasonable manual to guide you through the process. The color of the phones is a welcome departure from black which most other models seem to be. The cordless handsets seem durable but I would not want to see how well they survive a drop on concrete. The screens are easy to read - date and time are set by the phone company and are accurate. Speaker-phone option is duplex and works very nice. Belt clips on the cordless handsets are optional in case you don't need them but I think they give just a bit more to hold onto while you talk. As always, there will be issues that reviewers mention and I thought it was odd that Panasonic provided the rechargeable batteries for the cordless handsets but did not provide the same rechargeable batteries for the power outage backup system on the corded phone. Nonetheless, that being a minor inconvenience to have to provide for yourself, this is a great phone system and I highly recommend it to you.

Love the call block feature but have a hunch it will fill up fast. It was just the joy of sending the spammers to call block land! 🤣🤣🤣 The volume is a little less than expected when using speaker option on the handsets. It is good on the base unit. We added another handset. Read the manual to pair it if you do this. It is all right there. You must be next to the base unit with both plugged in to power receptacle. Nice color change from black and silver. Notice: may be difficult for non techies to set up features or pair additional devices.

Okay, make that two things! As of this writing, I have been using these phones for ten months. They work just fine. The range is good; I can be anywhere outside (we’re on 1/3 acre) and the cordless units work clear as can be. The audio quality is fabulous. Setup isn’t difficult but definitely requires looking at the manual. I prefer simple but simple no longer exists. That went out with the rumble seat. I do like the call blocking feature in these days of constant spam and bs phone calls. There are two things that I wish were different: 1) The buttons are very sensitive. When I am carrying one of the cordless units, whether using the belt clip or just in my pocket, without fail it gets bumped and somehow the talk button gets hit (it’s always the talk button! – Murphy’s law) and opens up the line. Then everyone who calls gets a busy signal. 2) While the base station has a light that blinks when there are messages, the cordless handsets do not. My last phones had that feature and it was convenient. It’s not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to have. In the end, the question always is, “Would I buy it again?” And the answer is a resounding YES. In these times where those are so many junky products being built, it is refreshing to buy something that actually works right out of the box and has been problem free. Despite my two little “quirks,” I still give it five stars

Perfect 👌 for My Home! Transmission is Great!

Have had this for about 1 month now and am very pleased with it overall. I first tried a comparably-featured AT&T phone, which I could buy at Best Buy, and that was poor and failed after a couple days (as other reviews said as well). This Panasonic unit and handsets work really well. Voice is clear both in and out. Memory "phonebook" works fairly easily and holds 100 numbers (I think), and can be segregated into any of 4 Groups. (One feature I cannot get to work is to change the Name of any Group from "Group 1" to "Family", for example, but that is a minor issue.) All stored numbers synch with the handsets automatically (which is nice), but Speed Dial numbers do not synch between units. This is actually a nice feature, since you can have 10 Different Speed Dial numbers on the base and each handset. Each Speed Dial memory holds 10 numbers and they work. I do not subscribe to Caller ID so cannot evaluate that feature. The manual is a pretty good reference. It is more clearly written than many device manuals, but I have not needed it very much. I bought the phone headset (KX-TCA60) to go along with this. It plugs into the individual handsets and works very well so far - very convenient and clear sound. The transmission distance (range) from base to handset seems to be as good as advertised. Overall, I am impressed with all the features and equipment for the price - very good value.

I bought this set in August 2022. The wireless handsets drop calls randomly and look like they aren’t charged despite having been on the charger all night. I’ve tried replacing the batteries but two of the three continue to drop calls, one I finally threw away because no amount of charging and new batteries would stop the dropped calls. So, I have the wired handset and two wireless but one of these two still drops calls and loses connection, screen goes blank. I like the ability to attach a headset, I like the look, the feel, the call blocking, the phone book feature, but the darn things are not holding a connection. I am hesitant to buy a replacement handset or just go with a whole new set, different brand. If this second handset drops calls more frequently, think I’m going with another brand. The last ATT set I had lasted about 6 years before things started burning out, I bought two replacement handsets over almost 10 years total. I finally decided to replace it and I really wanted a plug in headset feature. This set started having issues in the first year.

I just love these phones. Can hear a lot clearer than my old panasonic phones. Out of desperation with all those annoying advertising calls I bought this set mainly to block calls. It was easy to manually feed in the numbers I had saved on my old phone and it's finally quiet now. love the block call button I can use now. well worth the change over and the money for that feature alone. I love the color and they are super easy to figure out how to program them. I'm a senior 76 plus and I can use them. Won't have naps interrupted anymore by those awful calls. my old set would only save 30 blocked calls and this saves 250 calls. I am ever so greatful. these are well worth the money and so attractive. update..it's so easy to block those unwanted calls and my phone isn't a problem anymore. thank you ever so much!

While it's still too early to provide a meaningful review of this high-end communication technology, I truly believe that this Panasonic phone will provide you peace of mind due to its various features, including the silent time, a period of time of your choosing where no incoming phone rings would be allowed to disturb your sleep or quiet time. I also love the fact that I can block unwanted calls; I can have many caller groups; the answering machine, the intercom etc. This is a great machine that I am still learning to use to its full potential. I have been very pleased with my purchase and excited! Very good sound quality etc. Like you, it took me quite some time before making my decision to purchase this item, which I don't regret up to now. BTW, I commend also the seller for its reliability and expeditious delivery service, as I got my order within the expected delivery time, which is great! Everything works great with an added bonus of "Call Block" buttons on the base and the handsets. We've blocked a couple of specific telemarketer numbers so far and it works. The phone rings once and displays the call has been blocked. I think the ring can be disabled but it's fun seeing them being blocked. I added 1800 and 1888 to the list of blocked numbers but haven't had any of that range of numbers call yet to see if it works.
