comic strips.
I love retro comic strips.

A pleasure to delve into.
Peter O'Donnel's 'Modesty Blaise' needs to be rediscovered by more people as these graphic novels are so entertaining and probably underrated in the marketplace. With all things retro taking off now I can imagine that there will be further re-prints at some point. These are some of the greatest movies never made.

So great the stories of Modesty and Willie-highly recommended!
I was 13 when Modesty started appearing in the London Evening Standard and would have read only some of the strips in the paper brought home by may father each evening as I was at boarding school/on holiday for part of each year. I started work when I was 17 and would have read every strip from thereon except again when I was on holiday!I have now had the enormous pleasure of reading/re-reading ever single strip from this magical series (none of which I remembered) from beginning to end, yet I am also sad that there are no more for me to look forward to!Thank-you to every-one involved in the re-issue of these wonderful stories and especially to everyone at Titan Books Ltd. And thank-you to Peter O'Donnell for writing such uplifting stories about Modesty, Willie et al and all the artists for bringing them to life.
