The blanket I received is the same, however the back of it is solid brown (should be pink), and the ruffles are brown (should also be pink). She didn't take to the new blanket because she knew it was different, but I'm not overly upset as my husband and I plan to have another baby in the future and I will save the new one I received if we happen to have another girl.
