It was very hard to get it to connect. Wouldn't present its SSID to connect to, and the app wasn't clear on how to do it. But if you press the button for 60s it'll completely reset and SSID appears again. Once it's running, from the press on the phone app to the switch is instant, very impressed. Getting it installed was harder than it needed to be as the gap between the wire connectors and the grommet is too short. Otherwise, I recommend this product. It does NOT work with SmartThings.

Not exactly what I was expecting. The socket can't be left with anything plugged in as the cover doesn't close with a plug in it, so although it is waterproof on its own it's not when in use. Making it not a lot of use.I have fitted it inside a waterproof box making it useable.Actually getting it to talk to the app took a couple of hours and 3 devices. It couldn't be seen by android or I phone but the chrome book did find it.It does work ok but occasionally can't be seen and so far haven't got Alexa to control it.

Got to go 50/50 on this one. Ordered 2 1 works beautifully the other worked for a couple of months and has now stopped. The unit is faulty. I have even installed a wifi repeater to improve the signal but as both sockets are next to each other it made no difference. The one that doesn't work still doesn't work and the one that does work still works. The problem is getting a replacement. I have contacted seller and that seems to be it. Be careful with this one.

Struggled to connect this to our WiFi network for days and in the end gave up. This was bought so we could plug our pond lights in and have them on a timer, but in the end we bought a Meross WiFi twin smart socket to plug into this and then easily connected the Meross socket to the WiFi network.It does not appear to be waterproof once something is plugged in, but as it’s installed in a box housing other pond equipment we decided it would be ok.Some 3 months on this item has stopped working altogether.I would definitely not recommend.

This Is an easy to operate socket and works well with Alexa or its own app, but it is not waterproof when in use! Ie there is no room under the cover for a plug it is only to keep the socket dry when not in use

You have to be careful screwing it into the wall ,do it a bit each sideAs it can distort the main shape of the housing and the face cover will not fitBe gentleSet up was easy and alexia found it easilyWorks a treat

Can’t really be classed as an outdoor plug as you can’t leave anything plugged in outside as the front cover doesn’t close when somethings plugged in.Waterproof when not in use, pretty pointless.

Unfortunately this item did not come with adequate information. The very small leaflet that was supplied was too difficult to read and I haven't used the socket yet as I do not have instructions sufficiently useful to install it.I presume the orange button switch (see photo) is for pairing but there is no instructions to indicate what this switch is for.Also, I want to mount this switch in the wall and not on it.
