The brightness of the light is adjustable. I was glad that It comes with a remote control since I can put it up on the wall and control it wherever I want in my apartment.

This blacklight is great to display artwork more vibrantly. It has a couple different settings on ways the lights flash in different modes. The light is bright and fills my whole living room perfectly. But I like that it is a spot light so the main focus and more brightly lite area is where I want it on my artwork.

I want simple things, and it's fun to have a big part of the theme of kids and birthday parties. In the end it was very good quality and I didn't spend too much money. And very popular! So this is a win-win situation. Please really bring the party into life.

The only thing that I saw wrong with this item was that box that the light came in. The label said blacklight (which it is), but the box carrying the light showed the other option which was a colored light. Initially I thought that they had sent me the wrong light until I had opened the box.

Bought this because of the positive reviews and I needed a party light for our half basketball court in our shop. Does not change colors, barely lights part of the wall from 15 feet away, and feels very flimsy. The patterns are useless because it just throws up a tiny splotch of light into the wall. Unless you’re buying this to stick in like your bathroom, please don’t buy because this will certainly not light up any normal sized room in your house (trust me, I bought TWO).

I really do like this item. Has a strobe light feature which is awesome. Just wish the cord was longer.
