After looking at a bazillion vacuums, this is the one!!!
IM SO HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE!!!! Great suction, my floors have never been so dust free! The battery only lasts about 15 minutes or so, I’ll be purchasing an additional battery as I tend to do all my vacuuming at one time. I love the front light on it. I have mostly hardwood floors with a few large area rugs and it works great on both.I have been researching vacuums for almost 2 months and because of the millions of mixed reviews on every brand I just had no idea which one would be a good fit. I rolled the dice with this one as the price was lower than the dyson and shark models I was comparing. I also chose the Hoover because it had a removable battery with the option to get additional batteries. Most cordless vacuums I saw all seem to have a short run time.

Horrible Battery Life! But....
Negative: Basically only 1. TERRIBLE... HORRIBLE battery life. I don't know if we got a bad battery, but we get about 1 level of our house done on the battery (1500 sq.ft.). Half of which is carpet, the other we use the hard floor attachment. We then need to wait hours for the battery to charge up to do the upstairs. If our battery lasted a bit longer, this would be a 6-star review. On "Eco" mode it does last longer; however, it doesn't seem to have the sucking power like the normal mode.Positives: So many to list! Here we go: extremely light, it is very maneuverable, it is able to get to places other vacuums have not been able to. The sucking power is easily comparable to our Dyson on normal mode, not eco mode. It is unbelievable how much this little vacuum holds, and is able to suck up. The attachments are great. The mounting brackets that come with the vacuum are extremely helpful and we feel are necessary.Overall: A great vacuum when it is running and working... and if the battery was a bit better, we would seriously have 2 of them.

Best Vacuum I’ve Owned
Other vacuums I’ve owned:Dyson Animal 2009 (still going)Hoover Lynx (broken, but good product)Dyson V7 Motorhead (broken)This honestly outperforms all of them in the suction category. This thing is beastly. It sucks up dust that our Dyson Animal leaves behind. The compact canister fills up so quickly because the suction is just that incredible for such a small size. The battery life is on the short side at full power. Maybe 15 minutes or so. Understandable because it uses so much juice to obtain a superior level of suction. There is a low power eco option for dust bunnies and loose pet hair. Haven’t tried to see how long it last while one eco.Its a little heavier than comparable brands, but this onepwr has wheels which help in pushing it around the house.

Overall decent with a few odd and annoying issues
Overall this is a pretty good cordless vac. Surprisingly powerful and enough to clean a 2 bedroom in the city as an addition to the robot vac we have. The main head isn't too wide, so doing a big house with this would probably take long. We have a dog and the robot (one of the cheaper ones) picks up 70% and we use the Hoover once a week or 2 weeks. This vacuum has all the makings of being great, but has a few design flaws that are a bit annoying and honestly just disappointing that they weren't caught.1. The dirt tank/compartment is hard to dump unless it's only filled with small little objects. All the dirt gathers in the annulus (yes that's the right word) between the filter and walls of the circular tank - about an inch worth of space on a 6" diameter. The tank opens from one end (it does detach from the vac unit which makes life simpler). When you only have small objects (think Cheerios) they should fall out without a problem. If you have a wool rug that piles and "sheds" or a dog that sheds, that annulus gets clogged and stuff doesn't fall out and you have to dig it out with your finger.2. The buttons to disassemble attachments are on the wrong part. This may sound picky, but it's just a dumb industrial engineering error. Since the vacuum has a bunch of attachments (couple of small brushes to use as hand-vac, a long extension for main brush, 2 different main brushes) you have to press a little lever button to remove a brush or extension. For whatever reason, the good people at Hoover put the button on the part that you hold in your hand instead of the part that you pull away preventing you from doing this as a one-handed operation. So if you're using the hand-vac with a small attachment brush that you want to take off, you have to hug the vac with your armpit, use that same hand to press the button, and then use your other hand to pull off the attachment. This is in contrast to putting the buttons on the attachments so you continue holding the vac unit like you normally would by the handle with one hand and then press the button on the attachment and pull at the same time. Guess it was to save $ on the button mechanisms or just poorly thought out.3. This is probably more of a marketing and psychological thing. The battery lasts a decent amount of time when you're on "eco" mode. Basically the suction power is decreased significantly, but is enough for normal vacuuming. If you're NOT on eco mode and on "carpet" mode (those are the only 2 selectable modes), the battery dies in maybe 20 min. Why not make eco mode the default and have a button for "hyper" mode (the one that's currently normal). That way i don't have to feel like i'm underpowering the vacuum and not getting my money's worth to save battery life. Make the user accountable for going into hyper mode and killing the battery, vs feeling like the vac can't last more than 20 min under normal conditions. It'll remove some artificial frustration. Make me feel like I'm tapping into some special reserve of Thor's boost power and i'll happily drain the battery in 20 min. Why would you frame it as penalty instead of a benefit. Same concept as gas stations for cash vs card. No gas station ever "punishes" you by requiring a fee on top of the credit card rate - instead the cash rate is the norm and you get a discount with a cc. The prices can stay the same, but by framing it differently in the 2nd case, you make customer feel happier.
