I highly recommend it! The packaging was appropriate. The ‘concrete screws’ were all there. Shipped on time. It is VERY sturdy as “something to hold onto to steady myself” when I step down from my (side door) ‘large concrete step’ down to the driveway The hardest thing was finding someone to install it. I asked a contractor that I knew. He only did wooden railings outside. He would not install anything that had to be screwed into concrete. Luckily, quite by accident, my neighbor showed me his gazebo which he installed on his concrete patio and offered to install my railing. (It took him two hours to install. NOT easy. He had to cut one piece of the wrought iron, to customize the fit.) But for my neighbor’s offer to install my railing, I would have checked back with the vendor who sold me the railing for referrals. I bought it in April and it was installed in June! Worth the wait! CAUTION: Not for kids or anyone else to “swing on”. Not intended for that abuse. One more word to the wise: the shipping box said, “DO IT YOURSELF”. I don’t remember seeing this on the ad in Amazon. REGARDLESS…I LOVE THIS LITTLE RAILING. It does the job and gives me JOY every time I see it!

This is one of the best built handrails I've seen and easy to install. I was a bit concerned installing it on a set of precast concrete steps since they are hollow, but I took my time with the drill and the included concrete screws worked just fine. Just follow the instructions and take care with the drilling, you'll be pleased. I would buy again and recommend to anyone wanting a top notch handrail.

As the other reviews it does arrive at prime speeds, so super happy about that. About the railing, it does not come with concrete anchors but the holes are 3/8'' so i used 3'' 3/8'' concrete anchors which are way longer than needed, so you can get shorter ones. The instructions booklet was super helpful, you need to level the railing by raising the front post and finding where its level, then measuring that distance it is off the ground and cutting it off from the back post. Really straight forward. The hardest part was installing the supports that bolt to the concrete, you have to be really accurate since the top piece slides onto the two supports it comes with. Once bolted and installed it you could run your riding mower into the railing and it wouldn't budge. It looks really good and the finish looks really good, overall super happy with it since it is really sturdy. I didn't really like the pieces that go over the bolts on the bottom since it didn't seem to have as nice of a finish and wasn't as thick as the railing. It turned out nice tho, so no complaints!

Need to drill holes in concrete. The drill bit included lasted for 4/8 holes and I needed to buy another bit. The screws were darn near impossible to get into the drilled holes. Ultimately, I got 5 in, then 2 I put in with epoxy filler. The last screw is waiting for our deep freeze to resolve. Once secured the rail is sturdy and optimal for what was needed.

Very well made. Heavy duty all the way. No wiggle no wobble no looseness. The finish is great and looks like it will last. Mine arrived the very next day after I ordered it! They are probably meant for outdoor use but I installed mine on an indoor Oak staircase that has only two steps. I could not find a matching hand rail that just screws into the wall to go with this unit. I did find one that is similar. The price was high but the quality was great. Made in America. The instructions are easy to follow and the packaging was more than adequate.

Flinched at the price at first but in the end it was worth it. Very good looking, heavy and solidly built. My drill wouldn't sink the enclosed heavy duty 3" screws even with pilot holes, so I manually sank them with a rachet. Extremely stable and highly recommended.

Item as described, instructions were excellent which is very rare for any product. Easy installation looks nice and solves my problem with my parents getting into my home.
