I loved the mystery and adrenaline this book gives. I recommend it for anyone between 12-18. Best trilogy I have read by far.

Worth a read, but the authors other series are better
Decent but not great, I mainly read these because I enjoyed the last apprentice series so much. Joseph Delaney is a great author and I won’t deny that, but I feel like this series is missing that WoW factor.

Arena 13
Once again Joseph Delaney has written another extremely fantastic book. He wrote the book very well with lots of detail when required. Relationships are very well written especially Lief's relation with Tryon and with Kwin. I would have like to have had a little more action in the Genthai lands but what was written was very good. Overall this is an amazing addition to the Arena 13 Trilogy

Simple but effective
Anybody who read the first book in the series will not be disappointed with the next tale of Leif's ascendancy to an Arena 13 fighter.Easy to read and enjoyable. The only possible criticism is that it doesn't really have an ending, more of a to be continued...

If you enjoyed the first book then you will love this! I read the whole book in one session - at no point did I want to stop or put it down, it kept me gripped the whole way through.
