It was a great science project for me & my grandson. We got into a lot of discussions about electric power for homes - what would be be like to power every light in the house with a bunch of potatoes in series, always changing the potatoes when they spoiled.

my son and I had a blast with this... have fun making a colorful base for the clock to sit on - great afternoon project!

Really nice set. Be careful with the zink items they bend a bit if you hold them from the top. It worked in 5-6 solutions. Tested them with a voltmeter for a science fair.

The wires are really finicky and the clock will reset with the easiest bump. My daughter did enjoy this project on the whole though.

this was a science projects for my kids and they loved it and it still works with multiply uses I highly recommend it

This is a awesome product. Easy instructions to follow, and the clock is still working as we speak from since around 10pm yesterday. I plan on buying another one. It inspires you to want to do more.

I am giving 4 stars because it works, but any potential buyer needs to know that this price is ridiculous. These can be bought in a toy store for around 15.00 to 20.00.

I bought this product to teach my children in a fun way about digital time. We all had a fantastic time discovering the various fruits that can work the clock. Also, as the fruits have wilted, the children have been amazed by the drying up process and discolouration of the fruits. My only worry, and it is a big one, is that the instructions with the potato clock state that the electrodes can be placed in various liquids to make the clock work. I was a tad concerned that this would give my children the false impression that they could put any electrical worries in water to make a product work. Therefore, I removed the instructions and never mentioned anything about using fluids to power the product. All in all this is a fun product that gave lots of fun, investigation and learning. I am delighted I bought it!

Prodotto molto simpatico e affascinante, per quanto vi possa stupire un orologio patata. Sicurmante fa parte di quegli esperimenti molto utili ai bambini per avvicinarsi al mondo della fisica/chimica in modo divertente. Sicurmante non è un soprammobile o un oggetto da tenere in modo stabile in un posto, ma lo consiglio vivamente.

It's an over priced product that doesn't work correctly. The kids were so excited to use this but the clock which is the main element about this didn't work. A total bummer. Plus the return policy is horrible, we have to pay for the shipping charges of $12 for this useless product so we didn't end up returning. So disappointed! Can't believe I wasted $30 on this.
