Housmile Digital Bathroom Scale(400 lbs Edition), Step-on Activation and Extra Large Backlight Display, 2×AAA Battery Included (Black)

I initially purchased one of these units, which quickly died when barely exposed to some water; it's a bathroom, so some water is expected. I was quite annoyed by this and posted about my experience. I honestly expect things to work and not break so quickly. However, Housmile contacted me shortly later and apologized for my poor experience, asking if I would be interested in a replacement in order to make up for the previous unit. I accepted and have been pleased with the replacement unit. I am very happy to change this review to a positive one, specifically targeted at how well Housmile's customer service handled the scenario.NOTE: This isn't an excuse to treat sellers like garbage in order to receive free things. If you ever legitimately have a concern, feel free to express your views, but don't start publicly trashing people or companies simply because you are greedy and want something for free.

Pros:-Compact.-Light weight.-Looks great.-Very nice, clear display that is not obnoxiously bright like most blue LCDs that seem to be found in just about all electronics these days.Cons: Very inconsistent weight readings. Even on a solid floor I can get a different reading every time I step on the scale, and the readings fluctuate wildly even with the slightest of movements. What's the point of a scale if I have to step on it multiple times and then average the readings?I just threw this thing into the dumpster. I know--you get what you pay for.

Hard to get an accurate read. Numbers bounce all over and then it will just shut off. Anyone who is over 225lbs can't seem to get an accurate read. Jumps all over the place and shuts off. It weighs myself alright because I'm under 200 lbs but if my mom or husband try to use it the scale won't work. Not happy with the purchase. I do not recommend this scale.

Don't feel very accurate. Not steady

The scale does not seem to be very accurate. I found that it will bounce between 15 pounds. I'm not sure if it is a defect on my scale at 250(last check up was a week ago) the scale shows anywhere between 240 and 265. I tried multiple times and got different results every time. also, at 400 lb max, it feels as though it will break under my weight.

So far so good....nice looking scale and easy to read and so far it seems pretty accurate, so hoping others who say it is not were wrong or didn't have fresh batteries or some other reason for a misread...I am happy with what I have for now...Quick shipping and packed well, so thanks to the seller for that...
