Learning Italian
This book is an excellent way to introduce yourself to Italian without feeling threatened. I can't believe how much I've learned in so little time. The concept is to concentrate on gist and formality so you can quickly acclimate yourself to the language and conversation.

BEWARE - This is NOT for self-learners.
The description on this product should make it clear that it is not for someone trying to learn the language on their own. The entire text is in Italian; there is not one word of English anywhere. As a text for a teacher-led course, it may be satisfactory. For a self-learner, it is not. Will probably return it
