The EZRvent covers are a very practical and function product that can save you a lot of time, money and hassle with issue that can be very problematic for residential homes with crawlspace foundations. EZRvent covers will fit most common 14x6-in rough-in openings, and can even be insert in-front of many existing vent screens that are difficult to remove. The two coated 2.5-in screws are easy to drive into foundation framing, and they really do pin the EZRvent into place securely. I liked how the advanced PVC plastic was also able to conform a little with the irregular stucco that occurs on some homes, especially over time. These EZRvents are sure to prevent small animal intrusion like rodents, squirrels, birds and reptiles that like dark enclosed spaces to hide and make homes! The stainless-steel grate mesh is very strong and has been infused into the injection mold of the frame which will hold up strong over time. EZRvent is definitely worth the money to protect your home from foundation vent issues while making sure it has ample ventilation to stay dry and free of problems. Installation with a driver drill recommended and takes only 3-minutes each.

I would give 6 stars if I could. The product is pricey, compared to other cheap vents. But, it is extremely well-designed and so it is easy to install and strong. I bought 9 of the stainless steel kind. My wife said it's like installing gold trim on the house, but she was so pleased once I installed them. Beautiful and no more pest problems like rats and raccoons! --- Mitch

I had four old tattered aluminum crawlspace vents (see photo). Hardest project step was getting them out. I'd pre-check the sizing and the new (white) vents fit nicely and look great. The improved ventilation is noticeable in the crawl space and I am glad I did this project. The vents are good quality and the stainless steel screen is worth it.You'll note a middle vertical piece and bolt on my photo, that's not stock equipment (I added a plastic lath behind the screen and a stainless bolt-washer-nut assembly so that I can put a temporary solid wood cover over these in the event of extreme cold or other unusual issue).

I was a little confused as to the dimensions because it almost seemed like you could take out pieces or adjust the sizing per the descriptions. No, the dimensions on this item are completely fixed/stationary. That said, these screens do a great job keeping out birds, squirrels, and bugs from under our home while still providing great ventilation. Was able to make a small frame around each one using PVC trim from Lowe's and inset them into the siding. They look great.Also, the seller for this product helped me same day with questions I had. Excellent.

My vent went into an existing screened foundation vent in an 80-year old stucco house, after the damaged screen was removed. I followed the prep instructions exactly and painted the vent. It's been installed four months and is perfect. Installation wasn't a snap because the stucco had to be cleaned up but it wasn't difficult for this 75-year-old lady. Do use a drill to install the screws, and considering taping the vent in place till you have the screws in. The developer/seller has taken particular care with the instructions and following them should produce good long term results. I'm considering adding these to all my other ugly vents with icky screen, but these are pretty pricey. If the discount was at four, I'd do it.
