my favorite pocket tool
Bought for machine inspections and has proven dependable. Small issue with turning itself on in my pocket, but the boss pays for the batteries, so not a big deal. High and low settings change when the battery gets weaker, maybe by design. Nice and bright for a few days with a fresh battery.

This one comes very close at an amazing price. Moonlight is super light
I have many quality flashlights, Nitecore/Thrunite etc. This one comes very close at an amazing price. Moonlight is super light, loving it!

Extremely dim and bright both.
This is a nice little flashlight. I have owned this flashlight a little over a month. It makes a great night light for near the bed. Moonlight mode will not disturb anyone from their sleep. All the other modes kick out quite a bit of light. Flashlight is great for walks and around the house. If you need a brighter low mode other than moonlight look at the Sofirn SP14. This is a good flashlight for a person wanting a better quality single AA model than can be found at many big box stores. It can use 14500 lithium ion batteries also. My protected Xtar 14500's batteries fit fine. I purchased the blue version of the flashlight also.

Very frustrating, get something else.
I would have liked this light if it weren't for the extremely bad UI (user interface) and missing low or medium modes. I'll start with what anyone would start with...a quick single click...which does NOTHING! That's right, just about anyone would grab a flashlight and give a quick click to turn it on, but for some reason this flashlight didn't program it to do anything. WHAT A MAJOR FAIL. Instead, this flashlight needs a long press and it will come on with the last used mode. OK, it has mode memory, HOWEVER, this light (not including the 2 hidden) only has 3 modes...and they are 0.5 to 80 to 140 lumens. WHERE IS THE LOW MODE OR MEDIUM??? This light goes from can't-even-see-it mode to almost full brightness. And since it's a long press to turn it off, I always seem to single click and I thinks it's off...and later find that I left it in the 0.5 lumen mode. And here's something that's REALLY stupid...to get to the hidden 'turbo' mode, it's a quick double click. OK, now you want to turn off the flashlight so you do the long press...BUT NO, it's a single press to turn it off from the turbo mode, so you go 'oh yeah, I need single click'...BUT NO, that long press just changed it to a normal mode, and so from here you need to do the long press to turn it off...but it takes a second to realize this, and that single press just changed the mode to the 0.5 lumen setting and now you think the flashlight is off...BUT NO, you just left the light on, and it's draining the battery without you knowing it.Someone please fire the guy who programmed this light! Get something else.

Pretty good little light with one annoyance
It's an okay small light to tuck away in a bag or even to carry in your pocket (if yours aren't as full of stuff as mine already). The problem is the UI that makes you go through the moonlight. That mode is a total waste, as far as my needs are concerned. Two lumens isn't bright enough to be usable for anything that I can think of. It shouldn't be in the normal rotation, but should be replaced by the high mode.
